En otra entrega de este TTT Bandas de mi ciudad. Cumaná ha sido cuna de muchos artistas entre ellos, poetas, músicos, escritores. Sin duda que es una tierra con mucho que ofrecer artísticamente. Hace unos días estuve conversando sobre hacer un evento tributo a aquellas bandas de rock que forman parte de la historia de mi ciudad. No sé en qué quedará eso pero sinceramente que me emociona el hecho de que exista el sentimiento de revivir esos preciados momentos. Esto además, puede ser un incentivo para reactivar la movilidad en la ciudad.
In another installment of this TTT Bandas de mi ciudad. Cumaná has been the cradle of many artists including poets, musicians, writers. Without a doubt it is a land with a lot to offer artistically. A few days ago I was talking about doing a tribute event to those rock bands that are part of the history of my city. I don't know how it will turn out, but I am sincerely excited about the fact that there is a feeling of reliving those precious moments. This can also be an incentive to reactivate mobility in the city.
Quiero presentarles a Diego Gutiérrez un amigo músico de Cumaná que ha tenido que emigrar no como un turista si no, por alcanzar sus metas, sus sueños y por supuesto conseguir una calidad de vida. En conclusión, huyendo de todos los inconvenientes y obstáculos que se le puede presentar a un músico en Venezuela. Diego es un productor e ingeniero de sonido graduado en la academia de música Audioplace en la capital de Venezuela, Caracas. Su trayectoria ha sido inmensa pues ha podido trabajar no solo en sus proyectos personales si no, en muchos más ámbitos que solo cantar o tocar su instrumento preferido, la percusión (batería)
I want to introduce you to Diego Gutierrez, a musician friend from Cumana who has had to emigrate not as a tourist but to achieve his goals, his dreams and of course to get a quality of life. In conclusion, fleeing from all the inconveniences and obstacles that a musician can face in Venezuela. Diego is a producer and sound engineer graduated from the Audioplace music academy in the capital of Venezuela, Caracas. His career has been immense because he has been able to work not only in his personal projects but in many more areas than just singing or playing his favorite instrument, the percussion (drums).
En los años que estuvo en Cumaná tuvo la oportunidad de ser parte de grandes bandas pero sin duda su nombre quedó con un gran reconocimiento en la ciudad por sus producciones tan pulcras y poderosas. Desde chico Diego ha sido un apasionado con la música y todo empezó en un cuarto en su casa donde la magia se hacía presente. Hoy en día Diego ha trabajado hasta en doblajes de voces y también ha tenido la oportunidad en importantes teatros de España país donde hoy vive. De hecho su trayectoria tiene también una parada en Panamá en donde luego de mucho tiempo buscando la oportunidad la consiguió y no fue fácil pero no le corresponde a mí contarles esa historia que sufre un emigrante venezolano.
In the years he spent in Cumana he had the opportunity to be part of big bands but without a doubt his name was recognized in the city for his neat and powerful productions. Since he was a child Diego has been passionate about music and it all started in a room in his house where the magic was present. Lo poquito que les diré es que esta canción que les mostraré fue una de esas duras pruebas que Diego tuvo que enfrentar. Una que le abrió las puertas a muchos proyectos musicales y obviamente de muchos buenos proyectos y nuevas oportunidades. Esta muestra fue realizada para un estudio de grabación que no creía en Diego y cuando el mismo Diego le propuso al dueño del Studio de grabación una propuesta donde le dijo, cito sus palabras "permíteme escribirte una canción, producírtela, mezclarla y masterizarla" en donde el dueño acepta la propuesta y Diego se pone a trabajar y es cuando nace está primera canción de Diego Gutiérrez para Backline Studio Panamá quienes quedaron sorprendidos y con gusto le ofrecen la primera de muchas oportunidades en Panamá. No encontré un enlace directo a Youtube pero si en Facebook. Espero que no sea molestia para ustedes. Les puedo asegurar que los estoy guiando por un buen camino musical.

Me salté un gran pedazo. Estoy como esas películas que van de atrás para adelante. En mi ciudad Diego creo y da vida a un proyecto personal que venía cocinando lentamente logrando un gran sonido, composición y arreglos musicales de alto calibre y es que además de ser un gran ejecutor de la batería, tiene un gran conocimiento de su voz al momento de cantar. Una excelente técnica y eso debido a que su mamá es una de las grandes profesoras de música de la ciudad. Aunque no recuerdo bien, creo que en una de las tantas conversaciones que hemos tenido recuerdo que me dijo que no tuvo ninguna clase de canto con su mamá. Esta banda se llama INSOMNIA. Su canción más popular sin duda fue ¨Victoria¨ Y es una excelente canción y con un video de esos años que eran tan dorados. Debo mencionar que cada uno de los integrantes de la banda eran músicos con un talento increíble. Nacidos para esto, para crear melodías inspiradoras. Eso no quiere decir que no les dejaré otra canción de la banda. Véanlo así, un 2x1 ja ja ja... Y este segundo video es sin duda una gran obra de Diego Gutiérrez en donde no solo destaca con su trabajo musical, sino, por un performance mucho más que bueno.

En el tiempo que estuvo en Caracas, Venezuela. Formó una banda llamada Full de 91 la cual también tuvo un increíble impacto en gran parte del país. Y es que aun en esos momentos, una de las estaciones de radio más conocida del país, la cual lleva por nombre La Mega, colocaba canciones de bandas nacionales con motivo de impulsar no solo la movida del momento si no, a la misma banda. Nunca logré escucharlos en vivo pero el hecho de que todas estas canciones vengan del mismo artista, es impresionante la creatividad musical que tiene. Y es que no solo se basa en un solo estilo, Diego logró experimentar con muchos estilos musicales de hecho el siguiente video, o sea, el de la oferta del día, será una composición muy emotiva para el artista incursionando por primera vez en la música folklorica Cumanesa. Y es verdad que para esa ola de emigrantes que hubo donde casi 8 millones de hermanos venezolanos tuvieron que salir, una canción como está siempre rompía el alma. Escuchemos a Full de 91 y luego a Diego Gutiérrez y el Extranjero.

Esto es algo que me encanta de los que han estudiado música. Siempre son para versátiles y capaces de manejar muchos más Instrumentos musicales. Es una hermosa que ha compartido mi amigo.

I love when you highlight these artists from your area, and it's actually very pleasing that you follow them. There are many different styles here, but all with export quality. My favorite without a doubt is Extrajero, but I loved the sound of Gone and the video for Bricks Of Bone, super scary and worthy of 2000's Mtv...
