Domingo/Sunday

Que nos abrazamos
Un domingo
Y nos dijimos que nos amábamos
Bajo la lluvia
Prometimos no separarnos nunca
Y sellamos nuestro pacto con un beso.

Que te fuiste un domingo
Hace años
Y no te puedo acusar
Ni echarte la culpa
Porque todavía te amo

Recuerdo tu última sonrisa
De ese domingo tengo gratas
Fotografías

Quiero hacerte unas últimas preguntas
Pero ya no estás
Y no puedo buscarte
Lejana amada mía

Fuente

Oculta de mis ojos
Abrazo tu lápida
En este domingo
En el que juré
Amarte para toda
La vida.

That we embrace each other
One Sunday
And told each other we loved each other
In the rain
We promised never to part
And we sealed our pact with a kiss.

That you left one Sunday
Years ago
And I can't accuse you
Nor blame you
Because I still love you

I remember your last smile
From that Sunday I have fond memories
Photographs

I want to ask you some last questions
But you are no longer here
And I can't look for you
Far away my beloved

Source

Hidden from my eyes
I embrace your tombstone
On this Sunday
In which I swore
To love you for all
Life.

Such a heartfelt poem. I love it. I wish I can fall in love on a Sunday and get married on a Sunday.. 😂

Sadness and love combined in your verses, a Sunday of many experiences during an ephemeral life.

Beautiful verses.
Thanks for sharing.
Good day.
