Plato inclined himself forward, his face earnest. "I sensed something was awry when you summoned me. Now tell me, Ramses, what has transpired?"
Ramses began to narrate the struggles he had gone through--the laborious hours, the mounting payments, and the impending responsibility of his child's studies. He spoke unreservedly, disclosing the severity of his crisis and his wish for an improved future.
As Ramses uttered his words, Plato hung on his every syllable, his countenance displaying a blend of empathic concern and comprehension. When Ramses had finished his narrative, he addressed Plato with a measured cadence.
"My comrade," Plato commenced, "you appear to be in a precarious situation. Nevertheless, I am of the belief that, sometimes, new openings emerge in unforeseen circumstances."
Ramses creased his forehead. "What exactly do you mean, Plato?"
