That evening, he couldn't nod off. He fidgeted and shifted, his head inundated by the decisions he had taken. In the end, he decided on something – an action that would challenge his perseverance.

The subsequent day, Ramses reached out to the person who was interested in acquiring the purloined artwork and refused the deal. He could not bring himself to be involved in something that conflicted with his personal convictions, despite the potential monetary reward.

As he placed the call, Ramses felt a wave of comfort. It was a small demonstration of his opposition to the oppressive gloom that had been looming over him. Despite being aware the journey he'd chosen was full of complications, Ramses was determined to traverse it while keeping true to himself.
