A Risky First Step (4) : A Freewrite

As time elapsed, Ramses became conscious of the doubt and skepticism from some of his fellow confederates. Doubts were raised concerning his dedication and constancy, leading to him being barred from certain deals and meetings.

Yet, some individuals expressed profound admiration for Ramses and his uncompromising stance on morality. He was seen as a lighthouse in an otherwise murky world, and as such, a small following developed within the network who shared his ideals. These people were strongly committed to each other and stood firmly behind him.

One evening, Ramses got a call from somebody from the ring, a lady named Elena. She had been following his movements and assumed he had the potential to assist them effect a modification within the organization.

Elena spoke with resolution, "Ramses, there are individuals like us that want to enhance this globe. We cannot restructure it promptly, yet we can start by asserting what is correct."
