RE: Muting The Bots

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I don't like those bots as well. I wonder why not a solution is created that doesn't require the per comment calling out for those bots. HIVE being a social chain at its core should get some general feature out so it can handle voting with other tokens, but still through one of the standard HIVE UIs instead of one of those tribe UIs nobody is using anyways. I feel we are already paused for a long time regarding social network features while the UI and UX isn't really improving, and we aren't yet where we should be regarding UX for the masses. Owwww this comment is more a Rant than I expected it to be {LOL}

Haha rant away my friend!

Yeah it’s interesting how the UI’s have been a little lacking lately for advancements. Peakd is pretty good but that’s about it. I would much rather a bot command being silent than anything, I wonder if we can get there eventually!

I wonder as well. Have the feeling most teams are not doing a lot, or spending time on features instead of UX within the dApp and across the HIVE chain.
For instance, someone told me Leo Threads UX was on par. I'm afraid I have to disagree. When I open Twitter, Instagram or any other well-known social app, the UX is so much better. That same person said: UX is good, Speed is good. While UX is so much more, UX can be destroyed when some button isn't available on the right screen, when a button is at the wrong side of the screen, or when a button is just a tat too far away. All our frontends suffer from the same, and I feel talking into a black hole when mentioning these types of things. Anyways, let's be positive (edje, be positive!) Therefore I join you in hoping it all will be recognised by the devs and addressed appropriately. You see, I even set the door wide open regarding the solutions and how the respective devs can handle all this. They could even say: Edje, you are totally wrong, we don't change anything since the UX we experience in our dApps is perfect, it can't become better. Case closed. Handled appropriately 😆😆😆

In the theme for what you’re saying, I of course have the perfect meme for it.

It may look cool to a dev but to a user it’s shit lol. I know we are a ways off on some of these things but progress is one step forward and I think we’ve made good progress. We can’t compete with the giant platforms yet but we are getting there!

😆😆😆 Perfect Meme indeed.
We are making progress, but, I feel, none of our dApp teams has a solid professional approach towards their dApps. All seem to be amateur, or somewhere between amateur and professional approaches. But ok, I shall stop and leave things to the dApp teams themselves how they want to go about their own creations 😉 That Meme... still 😂😂😂

Okay, as a developing dev (with a programming course and a couple of programming related subjects), I'm keeping this to mind to make sure my games don't end up like this.

(Humorous nonetheless)

Haha that’s a good thing! It can be helpful in some circumstances but there are lots where it’s just annoying :D

Dude, u can mute them and never see again. If the front end you use doesn't do so just switch, most make it invisible. A lot of Hive people appreciate the tips and collect the token tipped. It's just individual pref and a simple mute option fixes it for ya
