RE: Buying Christmas gifts [ESP/ENG]
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
Xmas is always this gift hunting, not knowing what to buy. You seem to found your way, knowing those who will receive the gifts, will like it.
I just came back from a similar store you've been to. Was planning for some items from yet another shop, but decided to go there last. In the end, I didn't go at all, since I found what I think those who receive my gifts, will like what I selected. Sailiant detail, in case the gifts are not liked, I made sure they can return them to me. I not only like those items myself, but I can make use of them as well.
Amongst those gifts (can't share photographs since they are already wrapped in the shop), are two super nice glass-bottle oil containers for use in the kitchen. Two slightly cheezy candle holders with the text 'thanks to the cook' and 'candlelight dinner' stamped out so the words light up with the candle lit up. Both for the same couple. For my best friend, an ingraved wooden box asia style that I will fill with some origami creations with paper money, for her to use at some high class wellness/therapeutic centre she loves so much.
Let's see what I end up with in my home in two days. Though I think I shall urge them to speak up when they don't like my selections. Wondering though if they do, so I need to be persistent. Being persistent, perhaps result in them returning the gifts, even when they like them. Hence, I need to be very careful... Darn, Xmas... too difficult to my taste with all this shizzle 😂
NJOY Xmas, the family gatherings and all that!
Haha, I've been there too, giving away things I wanted for myself! But everything you said you bought sounded amazing; I would have loved it for myself, haha. I'm sure they'll love it, and if not, I hope they return it so you can use it. Merry Christmas! I wish you and your family many blessings. 🤗 😊
So far they accepted the gifts, some given by now, the rest tomorrow.
Same Same 🙏🎶
