LOH Contest #180||| Un Lindo Jardín

Hola damas, espero se encuentren muy bien, en este inicio del mes de abril, un mes propicio para el cultivo de los claveles, son tan hermosos.

Recientemente he renovado un viejo interés por la jardinería como hobby, cultivando flores, frutas y verduras fuera de casa. Puede que no ahorre mucho de mis gastos en alimentación, pero esto es más por satisfacción personal, así como para volver a aprender viejas habilidades. ¿Tienes jardín? ¿O te gustaría tenerlo? ¿Qué te gustaría cultivar en tu pequeño paraíso?

Desde chica mi abuela y mi madre siempre han tenido en casa decenas de plantas en el jardín, colgadas, en pequeños recipientes, en cauchos, en fin en cualquier lugar donde miraba había una pequeña planta y era algo religioso verlas todos los días en horas de la tarde regarlas y quitar algunas hojas secas.

Cuando me case y al ver la casa donde viviría podía ir haciendo una radiografía de todas las plantas que podía cultivar ya que hay suficiente espacio para tener hermosas plantas ornamentales, frutales y demás.

Todo inicio fue bonito, recuerdo que lance unas semillas de Zinnia o comúnmente llamada Cuarenta días, es una planta que brota hermosas flores muy parecidas a una margarita.

Las hay de muchos colores cuando brotaron las primeras flores el frente de mi casa se veía muy lindo, pero como no tenía cercado un día que salimos de casa, y al llegar vimos como unos niños les llamo la curiosidad y arrancaron todas las flores y las dejaron tiradas. Mi esposo decidió cortarlas todas.

Luego sembré un pequeño árbol de Crespito, para que al crecer diera sombra, y cuando ya tenía 1 metro de alto alguien de la calle corto el cogollo y de allí empezó a abrir sus ramas.

Cuando ya era un árbol adulto nos costaba un poco sombrear debajo ya que había quedado muy bajo y tocaba ir cortando sus ramas principales para poder disfrutar de la sombra. Al tiempo vimos que sus raíces afectaba los pisos de la casa al igual que al de la vecina y bueno nos tocó cortarlo.

Por ahora no hay nada plantado y si me gustaría tener un jardín en el frente de la casa:

Con un bonito árbol que de sombra en el centro, con unas pequeñas banquetas para sentarse y poder disfrutar de las plantas y del aroma de las flores.

En alguna esquina una pequeña fuente de agua que se escuche como si estuviéramos en una cascada. Que lleguen en las mañanas las aves y armen sus nidos. Que lleguen muchas mariposas a posarse en las flores y colibríes.

Tengo espacio para hacerlo pero hasta que pueda cercar el frente de la casa no podré hacer nada de eso, hay muchos niños abusivos que los padres no los corrigen y dañan cualquier cosas que a ellos les llame la atención, entre esos las plantas con flores.

Ese es mi sueño de mi jardín, espero algún día poder tenerlo y disfrutar de las bondades que da tener un jardín en casa.

Hello ladies, I hope you are doing very well, as April begins, a month conducive to growing carnations, they are so beautiful.

I have recently renewed an old interest in gardening as a hobby, growing flowers, fruits and vegetables outside. It may not save much of my food expenses, but this is more for personal satisfaction, as well as relearning old skills. Do you have a garden, or would you like to? What would you like to grow in your little paradise?

Since I was a child my grandmother and my mother have always had dozens of plants in the garden, hanging, in small containers, in rubber, everywhere I looked there was a small plant and it was something religious to see them every day in the afternoon to water them and remove some dry leaves.

When I got married and when I saw the house where I would live I could make an x-ray of all the plants that I could grow since there is enough space to have beautiful ornamental plants, fruit trees and others.

All start was nice, I remember that I threw some seeds of Zinnia or commonly called Forty days, it is a plant that sprouts beautiful flowers very similar to a daisy.

There are many colors when the first flowers sprouted the front of my house looked very nice, but as I had no fence one day we left home, and when we arrived we saw how some children called them curiosity and plucked all the flowers and left them lying around. My husband decided to cut them all.

Then I planted a small Crespito tree, so that when it grew it would give shade, and when it was 1 meter high someone from the street cut the bud and from there it began to open its branches.

When it was already an adult tree it was a little difficult to shade it because it was very low and we had to cut its main branches to be able to enjoy the shade. After a while we saw that its roots were affecting the floors of the house as well as the neighbor's and we had to cut it down.

For now there is nothing planted and I would like to have a garden in front of the house:

With a nice tree that gives shade in the center, with some small benches to sit and enjoy the plants and the scent of the flowers.

Fountain
In some corner a small water fountain that sounds as if we were in a waterfall. Let the birds arrive in the morning and build their nests. Let many butterflies come to perch on the flowers and hummingbirds.

I have space to do it but until I can fence the front of the house I will not be able to do anything like that, there are many abusive children that parents do not correct them and damage anything that catches their attention, among those the flowering plants.

That is my dream of my garden, I hope someday I can have it and enjoy the benefits of having a garden at home.
