Honestly, true wealth is not measured by the abundance of physical or material things nor poverty by the lack of money. But by the abundance of our love and kindness to others and poverty by inability to seize opportunity and lack of gratitude for what one has.

Thanks greatly for sharing @edgerik.

Absolutely agree.
True wealth lies in the richness of our hearts and the way we treat others.
Gratitude and kindness are priceless treasures that far outweigh material possessions.

Quite an important topic! There is a huge inequality between the wealth and poverty! Both are at it's extreme level in most of the societies and lands. We need to bridge the huge gaps in between. Will it be possible in our lifetime!! I am not hopeful!

Stay blissful!

Indeed, it's a pressing issue that shapes the fabric of our societies.
The disparity is alarming, and while bridging the gap seems daunting, small collective efforts can still spark change.
Let's hope for a more equitable future, even if it feels far away.
Stay positive and take care.

the difference in status will always generate a social comparison, whether the gap separating one person from the other is slightly large or small.
It's part of nature, it's been that way for thousands of years. As rational beings we are the most conscious of it, but it is something that is so ingrained in our nature that it is difficult to act without taking it into consideration.

Indeed, social comparison is deeply rooted in human nature.
Even with our rationality, it's almost instinctive to measure ourselves against others, whether the differences are minor or significant.
It's fascinating how this trait has persisted throughout history, shaping interactions and perceptions.
