Self-portrait with ballpoint pens [ES/ING]
Hola comunidad, hoy quiero mostrarles un proceso de autoretrato que realicé hace algunos meses atrás, mi intención era compartirlo aqui en hive, pero por motivos privados me he ausentado, pero lo importante es estar de vuelta, siempre hace vienen interactuar aquí.
Hello community, today I want to show you a self-portrait process that I did a few months ago. My intention was to share it here on Hive, but for personal reasons I have been absent. However, the important thing is that I am back, and I always enjoy interacting here.
Recuerdo que para aquel entonces habia comprado unos boligrafos de dibujo en Mérida, me pareció una buena idea compralos para probar que tal y bueno los resultados me gustarón, no es que haya hecho un excelentele trabajo pero si que capté mi expresión:
I remember that at that time I had bought some drawing pens in Mérida. I thought it would be a good idea to buy them to try them out, and I liked the results. It's not that I did an excellent job, but I did capture my expression:
Empece haciendo algunos trazos, unos más largos que otros y fui creando la forma de mi rostros, tratando que cada forma estuviera en el lugar correcto.
I started by making some strokes, some longer than others, and created the shape of my faces, trying to make sure each shape was in the right place.
Fui remarcando algunas zonas y haciendo los trazos más juntos para crear esa sensación de profunidad y de esa manera dividir la luz de las sombras, rapidamente saque un poco la expresion de mis cejas, ojos y lábios, puedes apreciar mucho mejor la forma en que el boligrafo realiza el trazo, es sensacional.
I highlighted certain areas and made the strokes closer together to create a sense of depth and thus divide the light from the shadows. I quickly softened the expression of my eyebrows, eyes, and lips. You can see much better how the pen makes the strokes; it's sensational.
Aquí fui oscureciendo y dandole sentido a la sombra que se encuentra en la parte inferior del mentón para que sobresaliera un poco la barba.
Here, I darkened and added definition to the shadow under the chin to make the beard stand out a little more.
Esta fotografía esta un poco borrosa, pero se pueden apreciar algunos trazos más fuertes, sobretodo en los ojos, las cejas y la sombra que le da sentido a la nariz.
This photograph is a little blurry, but you can see some stronger lines, especially in the eyes, eyebrows, and the shadow that gives meaning to the nose.
Y por ultimo, aqui te muestro la fotografia final del autoretrato, me encanto trabajar en esta pieza porque experimente trabajar con boligrafos, (mucha diferencia hay del grafito) hice un serie de dibujos que pienso publicar aquí en Hive y has aqui el post de hoy, que les haya gustado algunos de estos trazos y que tengan una feliz inspiración para todos aquellos que les gusta crear cosas y sentirse artistas.
And finally, here is the final photograph of the self-portrait. I loved working on this piece because I experimented with pens (which are very different from graphite). I made a series of drawings that I plan to publish here on Hive, and here is today's post. I hope you liked some of these sketches, and I wish happy inspiration to all those who like to create things and feel like artists.
