A Tour Through Asgard: My best Screenshot Picks from Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Hello everyone.

The story picks up where we left off before, right in front of the gate leading to Jotunheim. This is how I would like to start, but the truth is that the new theme of the weekly contest has made me momentarily postpone my journey through Norse mythology to show you my best picks of captures of Asgard, home of the Norse gods.

1.png

I will begin by showing you an enlarged view of Heimdall's tower, which is separated from the main city and around it hides dimensional portals to other realms and the occasional secret garden, as I show you.

3.png

Once you have climbed the tower as far as you can, the easiest way is to use one of the teleport points that are distributed in different areas of the map. These teleport points look very cool, really.

4.png

To cross to the other side, I have to use a part of Biofrost, a multicolored energy bridge. Taking advantage of the views, I made two captures from different sides and distances.

Once I arrived, I started photographing the things that caught my attention the first time I was here. An example of this is this huge shallow artificial lagoon, surrounded by statues that reflect the sunlight at any time of the day.

7.png

I go a little further and find this huge golden statue that looks imposing from the angle where I took the picture. Having also on its back a huge construction with beautiful architectural features that can only be found in this place.

8.png

But it's not all about huge castles, as beauty can also be found in the simplest things, such as a small, lonely cabin in the woods. Even a frozen fortress conquered by invaders can give us a beautiful view.

9.png

10.png

It got dark after so much walking and when the moon rose a little, I took the opportunity to visit two special places and play a little with the lunar reflections on the water. The nostalgic and relaxing effect is palpable.

11.png

13.png

I wait a bit for the sun to rise and, in the meantime, I practice with a group of invaders to shoot them with an arrow and stop time with the photo mode. I tried several times until I was able to get these two amazing shots.

19.png

22.png

On one occasion, while practicing, I managed to do a triple parry and, when I stunned the enemies, they knelt before me as if they were bowing. It was epic.

21.png

Once the sun rose, I continued the tour to a small altar with a tree in the center, which could be seen from far away, because the stones with which it was built were very white.

25.png

The temple was next to a cliff and from there I saw an island that I had not visited and curiosity got the better of me. I am aware that this is part of the next mission, so I will only show two pictures of the entrance and I will not mention its name.

26.png

27.png

I thought about ending the tour with the images of the island, but I decided to do it where it all began. Odin's throne was where it all began, where the seers told me their prophecy, and it is also the highest access point in all of Asgard. That is why this is where this journey in search of the best shots of Asgard ends.

I hope you enjoyed the trip and the captures I selected to show you. See you next time.
