Staudenland Helles Export

It's time again for a #BEERSATURDAY post from me. This time with a pale export from Staudenland. This is actually an extremely cheap beer from Penny Markt. So I didn't really expect much, except that it's easy on the wallet.Es ist mal wieder Zeit für einen #BEERSATURDAY Post von mir. Dieses Mal mit einem Hellen Export vom Staudenland. Das ist eigentlich ein extrem billiges Bier vom Penny Markt. Also erwartet habe ich eigentlich nicht viel, ausser das es den Geldbeutel schont.
The export comes with 5.5 %. So it's a bit more than a normal Helles, which actually only has 5 % or 5.1 %. The advertising is mainly aimed at people from my area. Staudenland is in the immediate vicinity of Augsburg. But I doubt that the people who get this beer at the penny are buying it because of the great presentation.Das Export kommt mit 5,5 Umdrehungen daher. Also etwas mehr als ein normales Helles, dass eigentlich nur 5 % oder 5,1 % hat. Die Werbung trifft hauptsächlich die Leute aus meiner Umgebung. Das Staudenland ist in der Nahen Umgebung von Augsburg. Ich bezweifle aber, dass die Menschen, die sich dieses Bier beim Penny holen, wegen der tollen Aufmachung kaufen.

I was immediately surprised by the foam. It stood up well and was relatively fine-pored, which I didn't expect. You should always mention that you should not dry the mug with a tea towel when drinking beer. There is usually residue from the detergent on it, and it can affect the foam. My steins are not polished.Ich war gleich mal überrascht vom Schaum. Er stand gut und war relativ feinporig. Das habe ich nicht erwartet. Man muss immer erwähnen, dass man den Krug bei einem Bier nicht mit einem Geschirrtuch trocknen sollte. Daran sind meistens Rückstände vom Waschmittel, und können den Schaum beeinflussen. Meine Krüger werden nicht poliert.

Well, the taste was more what I expected. For me, it tasted extremely bitter. Not tart or slightly bitter, but noticeably so. You could drink it, but enjoyment is different.Na ja, der Geschmack war dann schon eher nach meinen Erwartungen. Für mich hat es extrem bitter geschmeckt. Nicht herb oder leicht bitter, sondern schon merklich. Man konnte es schon trinken, aber Genuß ist anders.

Conclusion: 5 out of 10 Beersaturday points from me. The foam is great, the look ok, the price was unbeatable but the taste leaves a lot to be desired. I won't be buying it again. Until the next BEERSATURDAY from @detlev . Cheers!Fazit: 5 von 10 Beersaturday Punkten von mir.
