In the song The Twelve Days of Christmas, "maids a-milking" refers to women who milk cows, an essential agricultural task in historical times 🐄. Milkmaids were often depicted in pastoral settings, symbolizing simplicity and abundance 🍶.

Nevertheless, my drawing depicts Mechanized Milking

Modern milking has evolved significantly with mechanization. Automated milking machines 🛠️ have replaced manual methods, increasing efficiency and hygiene. These machines use suction cups to extract milk directly from cows' udders, mimicking the action of hand milking 🤖. They are connected to pipelines that transport milk to cooling tanks, maintaining freshness 🌡

I did this using pencil, colour ballpoint pens on paper.
