Thematic Art Organizer - Is this worth Money? #11

(Edited)

To celebrate our 11th episode of "Is this worth Money?" series, I will be making some changes to My Radar, make sure to check those out lower down in this post for more information.

Have you ever tried to find an image in your old post? I know I have - and it can be quite a frustrating process to remember an IMAGE - but not necessarily any of the words posted along with that image. Sure I could just upload the image again (lol sorry peakd), but that assumes I can still find that image on my computer, which is not always the case.

Additionally, I think there is some value in curation of images, not just words, so take a look at this beauty of a tool we have for you today:

TAO - Thematic Art Organizer

Use the Tool Here!

Similar to the backlinker, we have built an amazing filter where you can see posts from a User (username), Tag or COMMUNITY!, and see very easily the featured image, and quickly click to see all the images of any post in a convenient carousel style.

If you are looking for thirsty Holozing art, for example, you can filter by the community "hive-131131":

When you see a feature image that you suspect might just "get better" by seeing the rest of the images, just give it a click. You can also click at any time to "view post", for now we have the default set to peakd links.

But by clicking the art - see it all in carousel!

Thanks to @arqyanedesings for this great example!

I think there are a lot of cool and interesting uses for this tool, I am quite proud of it, and happy and thankful for all the work I made @thecrazygm do just to make this possible. It is the case of course that the more you do, the more invisible stuff in the background needs to be done first, just so amazing tools like this can be made, and work!

But @thecrazygm is a wizard, and I have to say - his backend is looking sexier than ever! And this tool is the result of all of that hard work, we are moving forward, step by step, and building all the legos we need in such a way that they may be useful to others too.

I have to say, I for one am quite excited about curating thirsty Holozing art images posted on HIVE!

But you can also get your idea on "My Radar"

Don't forget that this all started as a sociological experiment. Sure, there are a lot of things I want to build. But - how can I know that they are useful? One way, is by synergizing with other builders. This is how the game MOON got built for example, and you can play that for FREE, right now, with or without a HIVE account.

But another way, is by taking suggestions from the community, with some friction of course. As my pipeline of work has filled up quite nicely, I have decided to take this opportunity to raise the price of getting on "My Radar" from 100 to 250 ARCHON tokens. Currently costing about 8.8 HIVE, or about 2 dollars at the time of posting, its still a pretty low bar for getting my "expert" project manager feedback on an idea. I think so far, I have not totally let anyone down who has gone through the trouble of submitting an idea.

Take a look at the process:

If you want to get your idea on my radar*, pay attention:

  1. Get 250 ARCHON tokens
  2. Send them to @ecoinstant
  3. Use a fun memo
  4. Screenshot or copy the link to TX
  5. Leave a comment on the latest "Is this worth Money?" series of posts by @ecoinstant including:
    A. Screenshot or txlink of payment
    B. Your idea as simply and elegantly explained as you know how. (use the current radar as a guide)

*Getting on my radar in no way obligates or commits me to building your idea for free. This is my price for consideration.

What sort of things are on "My Radar"?

Currently the list looks like this:

  1. I want to send Hive layer 1 tokens to accounts that hold my token. (never officially submitted, I just want to)

  2. I want to send Hive-Engine tokens to accounts that hold my token. (in progress, now fixing up hive-engine and related libraries to do this, see progress)

  3. I want to see all my posts, I want to print them (almost there...see v2...needs v3)

  4. I want an "auto-badger" to follow accounts that meet certain hive-engine token conditions (working for PIMP, UI "in progress", working title: Auto-Badger)

  5. I want to see and sort communities by data driven metrics. (Amazing progress, today's tool has community filters!: see also here)

  6. I want an auto-voter that discriminates by tribe tag. (Requires hive.vote replacement be built first, but that's on our internal list, so we accepted this challenge)

We are also working with many other leaders and developers in the production of HIVE podcasts, including Jabber Talkie roundtable series, which recently released a fantastic discussion with @starkerz as guest, all about TalentLand Guadalajara and the upcoming HIVE Hub Hotel project by @buttcoins, check it out!

Among other allies, who you can often see being reblogged by me, follow @hivetoday for updates of all the great stuff going on, around the chain by movers and shakers like us. Let's keep building together, in an open and modular way. There is a lot to do, but we can do it if we work together - with SYNERGY!
