Mithril Audits - a new product line!

While talking to people around the "crypto-space", it came to my attention that a role such as CTO could be very appropriate to my team. A good, technical project manager is very often a missing link in the development of a "good idea". There are a lot of "good ideas" being worked on, a cornucopia of potentious developments going on in the world, and many projects are indeed looking to hire a "CTO" or CTO package.

One such group was chatting me up about this, I considered carefully everything that I have ever learned - about codebases and big teams spending money. And I gave them this proposal, the skeleton of which I built with Claude, then I heavily worked it over.

The idea is simple - before I can even decide if I want to work with you or if I can trust what you are saying about your own code, I need to audit it. And my audit would be useful to you even if you don't end up hiring me, or liking what I say about your code base and your organization.

The $1,500 consulting fee would include one month of eMedia software, which is an ai-powered corporate organizational software package, and who are now clients of @mithrilmarketing, which was recently announced as well. eMedia Library software is completely open source, so they fit right into our synergistic management model - welcome to the family!

Here is the proposal I sent to the team, and represents a starting point to offer a "CTO Audit" service for any project that is building an app - as long as "all the code is in github".

Technical Due Diligence & CTO Assessment Proposal

To ensure mutual success and minimize risk for both parties, I propose a structured 30-day technical assessment period before finalizing our CTO partnership terms.

$1,500 consulting fee
Duration: 30 days
Deliverables: Independent technical audit report, technical roadmap and structural management report.

Transitioning to production-scale operations requires comprehensive technical validation, and negotiation without such mutual validation is premature. We can provide a valueable auditing service with development roadmap that will be essential in funding rounds - so in this case there is no need to make blind commitments, as both parties benefit from data-driven decision-making about our potential partnership.

The deliverables will be useful for the company in a raise round either way, and if everything is on track may even come with PR's already recommended.

Technical Audit Scope

  • Comprehensive codebase architecture review
  • Security vulnerability assessment
  • Scalability and performance analysis
  • Firebase/Supabase infrastructure evaluation
  • Technical debt quantification and feature development timeline
  • Budget projections for technical operations
  • Organization Management Software - getting the team together

Mutual Benefits

For CLIENT NAME:

  • Receive actionable roadmap for production readiness
  • Gain transparent assessment of launch timeline reality
  • Minimize risk of expensive post-hire discoveries

For Technical Leadership:

  • Provide informed recommendations based on actual codebase review
  • Establish realistic expectations and resource requirements
  • Demonstrate commitment while maintaining professional standards

Next Steps

Upon audit completion, we can negotiate:

  • CTO compensation package (salary + equity)
  • Technical team budget
  • Development roadmap and launch expectations

This approach looks to build a propitious partnership together while managing risk appropriately. The $1,500 investment provides extraordinary corporate value plus the confidence and clarity for both parties to make a partnership decision.

Hit me with that feedback.
