INCOME Synergy Fund now has over 90k Hive Power!

Its been a long road, and we are still on it. During this phase we have been powering up, trying to consolidate as much of our position as possible into HP, HIVE Power, which is the governance token for this community blockchain.

I remember passing 80k, and it was a big deal and took awhile to get here, but now 100k seems just around the corner.

Beyond our distibution in what we are holding, this amount of HIVE Power is significant for our curation efforts. Holders now control a trail of votes that is frequently over $1 in vote value, including @ecobanker and @treasure.hoard and now some private accounts.

Remember that holding INCOME tokens let's your account select a post for curation as long as it is 22 hours or fresher when our curation digest prints. It can be your own post or a reblog, use this power wisely. We select 13 posts per day.

New members can often be surprised about this 'reblog' feature, but this is a curation digest, not a pay for votes scheme. Some holders use this really effectively, like @melinda010100. We also have a few keywords that trigger us to not select the post, and we reserve the right to adjust this in the future if any problems arise.

Additionally, after selecting our members curated selections, we randomly organize the list, and the lucky member who selected the post that comes out on the top of the list, gets 1 HSBI unit. This is a daily additional prize for one lucky member, an extra thank you for the effort of helping us curate around the blockchain. This is true even if the post is a reblog, the reblog gets the vote but the INCOME holder gets the HSBI unit.

Of course we also pay daily dividends to holders of at least 1 INCOME token, mainly these funds come from our HP leased delegation to the HSBI program, and our ARMERO tokens. We haven't raised the dividends in a few months, but if things continue to go as well as they have, we may consider doing so in the near future.

We have some nice positions in selected HIVE-Engine tokens, including ARMERO, WORKERBEE, SIM, XV, ASTRA, MYRIANODE and DBOND. We have nice stakes in the PIMP, NEOXAG and CINE tribes, and are one of the top miners with CTPM tokens. We have nice positions in DRIP, CARTEL, BXT and TEAMPH. I am happy about our well-rounded and diversified position, even after and continuing to squeeze.

Other assets on the account include 20797 HSBI units, with a book value of 10398.5 HIVE, as well as 10254 swap.HIVE paired with 980 INCOME tokens in the LP pool. Don't forget about this pool, as for small amounts of selling and buying you can get a much better price than the order books. I can only say it, its up to you to understand, but I still see people occasionally selling onto the orderbooks and immediately losing 30% of the value and giving it to spread traders.

Which, you know, is fine; sometime that spread trader is me.

Another feature of our Synergy Program is the @locolombia HIVE-engine witness, currently ranked 12th within the top 20, which you can vote for here. We earn BEE by producing 'blocks', and @ecoinstant (me, personally) pays the server fees, mostly from posting rewards. So everything is a bonus, and generally we have been using those BEE to support promising projects in the Synergy Fund with H-E services priced in BEE, like LP liquidity pools.

Most recently we supported @warofcriptonft with BEE to activate staking for their WOC token. This generates more than just support, also good will among the community of new HIVE games and projects. Previous to this, we granted 1000 BEE for a STELLARUM:ONEUP pool - again a gesture of good will and support for two projects we are holders in.

This strategy of Synergy, might not be the most profitable short term, but long term it has served us very well. We have gone from a 1 (HIVE) price per token to over 10 HIVE price, which is not just speculation but strictly asset backed. We have done it over 6 years and a little more, but we hope to continue to do it for 6 years more. And I hope you will join us.
