I bought this new calculator a few months ago. It's a fake calculator or copy of its original one. I bought a copy because the Real one is not available in the market.

Oh... What a pity you no longer have the ones you collected back then 😢 My collection is from now as an adult, but I would have liked to be able to keep several that I had when I was a child. They were beautiful! But well... nowadays you can find very nice designs too 😊💚

Yesterday evening I was in a bar with friends.

It should be about real, actual, genuine interest about content in general.

Like on properly working social networks.

As I currently see it on Hive, it is mostly about Hive Power.

Some Hive accounts have high amounts of Hive Power, and they always receive comments.

By the way, I am rather realistic and honest than fake positive.

I know. Honestly is not really much a popular thing nowadays.

Many people do not even like it.

But it is still one of the most valuable features of being human.

I tried multiple unique content in the past.

For example amateur radio related posts, falcons, Harris's hawk related posts, living in a cave/tent living community in the rocky semi-desert.

Even videos.

There were many upvotes, but nearly zero comments.

The videos were similar.

Many upvotes, but only a very few, or zero (0) actual video views.

On Hive, there is a general lack of real content consumers.

On Hive most content are either ignored or overlooked (even if it is unique), while it is naturally standing out on a properly working social network.

People always actually care on a properly working social network.

Even in the smallest Facebook groups (for example with a few hundred members).

When I started 7 years ago, no power no network, no community.. I thought it was my content issue because I'm not a writer and I didn't have a unique experience either. But, I read and commented more than I posted. Slowly, the community spotted my existence and they were supporting me through comments and votes. Because commenting is also a post, so I did that😁

Only a few close friends would really read a post, but your comment on others? They'll read.. my power now mostly delegated to a few curators. I don't mind if they don't vote for my post, all I need to do is read and comment on theirs then they'll find a way to mine.

We have so many different communities to join. Have you ever known about silver-bloggers? Many people there are quite a chatty 😁

I also started on Steem/Hive seven years ago (on 2017.05.17).

For a certain time I tried to engage a lot, and I was even the top of the Hive engagement league multiple times.

It did not made any difference.

No matter how many, how long comments I wrote, or what I posted.

I very rarely received comments.

But mostly zero (0), or nearly zero.

Often only bot comments.

Nowadays I use the platform naturally.

Like any other properly working social network.

I write a comment when I have something to say/ask.

And generally I spend very little time online.

I rather spend most time offline.

With what I actually love.

My Harris's hawk. In nature.

Most Hive users write a comment under others posts, because that person also commented under their posts.

Real, actual, genuine interest in the content is very rare.

I know about Silver Bloggers. It is intended mainly for elderly people.

Oh my... I did it too, being on top 10 of hive engagement league, but then I was busy playing splinterlands, then went dormancy for 2-3 years, I just made a comeback a month ago🫣 and yeah.. just a few comments from friends who missed me all this time and bots too 😆 my power only 800 something left, and I think few friends still recognize me, so they came to say hi on my post. It's okay though.

So, with your experience. Why do you think that power is related to the reaction of other hivers? A friend of mine, who created a post once or twice a month about splinterlands, got so many comments on it... Why? Because he already has that special network.

Anyway, many good posts in worldmappin also didn't get many comments too.. maybe there are more readers than commenters

Splinterlands related posts (or rather Splinterlands cars giveaways) are maybe the only thing on this platform, with most people could receive comments under their posts on this platform. But those are also not real comments. Those are based on the personal financial gain of the commenter.

If he/she regularly receive comments on other types of posts too, then "special network" probably means some kind of financial incentive.

Really, what he/she does, what the 80% of the Hive users do not do?

Generally, you have to be amongst the selected very few to regularly receive comments on this platform.

While if you post on a properly working social network, then you always receive comments, because people there actually care. They are there actually for the content.

Many of my real life friends do not even have internet connection, because they say that the internet is a source of stress.

And if I use a socially not working so called social network (the Hive blockchain), then they are actually right.

If I post unique content in the proper specific Facebook group, then people always care.

People naturally use the platform.

No one asks nonsense things like how many comments I write under other people's posts.

On a properly working social network, this does not matter at all.

People there actually care about the content.

People write comments, because they actually care about the content, and because the other person commented under their posts, and neither to divert the other person's attention to their own posts.

Good morning sweetie ❤️ here in Indonesia, months with "ber" at the end means time to prepare buckets or ember in Bahasa, to catch the rainwater. Rainy days will be around September/October until february.

Anyway, do you have the rainy season too?
