Cute diy pencil holder for my niece

Goodday to the creative users of this wonderful community, I hope you are all doing okay and fine. Recently, I decided to make a special pen holder, not for me but for my niece which is just 8 years old. A piece that would not only bring joy through it's cut and colourful design but also help her organize her pens and pencils. The idea came to me from her last visit to my house where she requested a spot to keep her stationery such as pencils and pen, so I decided to make one for her.

Using simple and recyclable material and a little bit of creativity, I was able to create a unicorn and bunny themed pen holder, knowing that she loves bunnies and unicorn. A unique and perfect personalized gift for her, here's how I made it.

MATERIALS

• Waste cardboard pipe
• A4 size white sheet
• Glitter foam sheet
• Glue gun
• Scissors/Knife
• Scale
• Pencil

PROCEDURE

step I

To begin with I took my cardboard pipe and cut it into three different lengths and size , one measured 3 inches, the other 4 inches and the last 6 inches long.

Then take a white sheet of paper and roll over the small stick using glue.

After doing that, take the medium size cardboard pipe and cover it with white sheet of paper using glue.

Then I covered the biggest cardboard pipe with the same white sheet of paper.

Take the golden glitter sheet and cut it into thin stripes and stick it on the edges of the pipes, also take pink glitter sheet and cut it into thin strip and stick it in the edge of the pipes.

Then I draw the unicorn and bunny face theme on my white sheet of paper, coloured it and added some design to it. Then I glue them together to the holder.

Then face them upright and this is my final result

When I presented the pen holder to my niece, she loved and her face lit up with excitement. She loved the cute design and immediately started organizing her pens and marker in it. Seeing her joy made the effort worthwhile and shows the power of handmade gifts. I hope you all enjoyed reading through and have a nice week ahead.
