Creative Sunday - pencil drawing of a scenery
Greetings and I welcome you all to my blog once again. Sundays have always been a day of rest, a break from the everyday hustle. For me this Sunday was not just restful, it was creatively awakening. Instead of me spending the day scrolling through on my phone or watching television, I picked up my pencil with a blank sheet of paper and let my imagination run wild and I ended up making a pencil drawing of a peaceful rural scene. Without further ado let's begin.
materials
• A white paper
• A 6b pencil
• A 2b pencil
• A eraser
• A sharpener
• A sale
step I
First, I took an A4 size page and used a scale and pencil to draw a border around it. Then I drew a parallel line on top and drew four small and large hills on it. Then I drew two houses on the left side, below the hill.
step 2
Then I drew a line along the back of the house. Then I drew a line along the other side, drawing a river
step 3
After doing that, I then drew a house on the right side and the winding road. Then I drew three more small houses in the back and a small tree. I also drew a road in front of the house.
step 4
Then I drew two long trees behind the house on the left side and four more trees next to the house on the right. Then I drew many small and large trees behind.
step 5
Next I drew a bridge over the river and drew some large rocks on the river bank on the left side.
step 6
Then I drew branches and leaves on all the palm trees. Then I lightly blackened both sides of the mountain with a pencil and left the middle white. In this way, I blackened all the mountains.
step 7
Then I colored the trees in front of the hill with black pencil and the two big trees on top of the houses on either side with black pencil. Then I colored the palm trees with black pencil as well.
step 8
Next I designed the doors of both the small and big house. Then I painted the doors and windows of the big houses in front of me black and designed them with tin frames.
step 9
Then I painted the river on the other side of the bridge with black pencil and erased it with an eraser to make a road. Then I painted the left side with black pencil and painted the bridge well. I painted small stones on the right side.
step 10
Next I painted large stones on the left side, then I painted lot of grasses on top of those stones and painted them all the way to the front of the house.
step 11
Then I painted the right side of the big road with a black pencil. Then I painted the grass on the left side as well. Then I painted the middle of the road with a light black pencil.
step 12
Then I drew bird's flying in the sky and water in the river, Then I drew a scene of a woman walking on the street with a pitcher in her hand.
So finally my drawing is complete and here's my final result.
This creative Sunday reminded me how powerful a simple pencil can be. It can turn a blank page into a world of emotion, peace, and beauty. I didn’t need colors or expensive tools—just patience, observation, and a love for art. I hope you all liked my pencil drawing for today and happy Sunday to you all.
