Crafting joy : Diy beautiful wall hanging decoration

Greetings and welcome you all to my blog once again, am here today in this community @diyhub to share my creativity with you all once again. Crafting has a beautiful way of transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary and one such humble yet versatile material which helps me in crafting is cardboard. What many may see as packaging waste, some see as a canvas for creativity. Today I present to you a charming and colourful wall hanging decoration with the words LOVELY HOME made entirely out of cardboard and simple decorative elements. Without further ado let's get to work and create something unique.

Materials

• Waste carton/ cardboard
• Acrylic colour
• Brush
• Adhesive
• Evostic gum
• Bias material
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Leather material
• Flower
• Old newspaper

step 1

First I cut a piece of cardboard measuring 11.5 meters by 8.5 meters. I marked the centre of the cardboard and reshaped it. After the reshaping, I peel one side of the cardboard.

Then I used an old newspaper at this step by rolling it with a stick and evostic gum to form the shape below.

I gummed the rolled newspaper of step two above on the shape formed in step one using Evostic gum.

Then I coloured the cardboard In step 3 with yellow acrylic colour as shown below.

In this step, I cut another waste cardboard measuring 11.5 meters by 8.5 meters. I peeled one side of the cardboard and on it, I formed a small flower vase with a cardboard measuring 17 cm by 8 cm. After the construction, I coloured it with yellow acrylic colour.

Then I carefully wrote and carved out the word LOVELY HOME on a spoiled piece of leather material and used my cutter to cut out each letters one by one.

Here I gummed the word "LOVELY" on the coloured cardboard in step 3 using Evostic gum. The letters were gummed one after the other because they were cut separately. Finally, I gummed a yellow shining bias material around the construction.

I gummed the word "HOME" on the second cardboard that has a flower vase. I also gummed a shining yellow bias material around the cardboard to make it beautiful. I used evostic gum to glue both the letters and the bias.

After doing that, I then arranged while and purple bead's together to serve as the connection between the two decoration, Here, I double a sowing thread into four, and with the help of a sowing needle, I arranged the beads in this order ( one white, one purple, one white and two purple).

Then using my bead's I then connected the two works together using adhesive gum and masking tape.

Then at the end I dropped a flower which I have made using other materials at the small flower vase of the craft to show how beautiful it was and I was finally done.

Below is the final result of my creativity and my skills, here's my final result.

Crafting something by hand, especially from recycled materials, is both fulfilling and exciting. This “Lovely Home” sign serves as a gentle reminder that beauty can be created from simplicity. It now hangs proudly in my living space, a testament to what imagination, patience, and a bit of glue can achieve.
