My Experience In School As A Student Back Then

Hi Everyone! It's the weekly featured contents for Week 105:- Edition 02:-.And the topic given out to be discussed is "Schooling Back Then."

And today I'll be writing firstly about my good experience back then at the university and the parts that I enjoy most that's no longer really current at the moment.

Schooling Back Then

---

Schooling back then wasn't an easy task to carry out, which is normal for every student. Because as a student, there would always be a good time and also a time you'd definitely not want to experience again in a lifetime.

But I'd be talking more about the good and fun part of being a student at my institution and its advantages as a student at the university.

The Good Part Of Being A Student Back Then,That Is No Longer So Current In The Present Day In School.

The good things that I really did enjoy back then that I feel are no longer really current in the country at the moment are that you get money from home so much because they're always trying to satisfy my need for school at some point.

At that point in time, food items were always available in my box. I'd always have lots of junk, like biscuits, cornflakes, noodles, Milo, sachets of milk,etc., mixed in a big box for me, and I barely go hungry in school.

Firstly, it was more good because food, junk, and other school needs were more cheap and very affordable for parents to get for one during those days in the country.

And you'd even barely get to spend your money in school then on food stuff and other junk because you already have them with you, and it literally helps one have savings during those periods, except if you just decide to lavish the money.

But nowadays, you'd be very surprised at the change and increase in price of every one of those same things they got for you back then as a student. And also, the increase in prices for school fees and transportation isn't an easy thing to deal with nowadays.

Means of transportation and payment of school fees were cheap back then in the days.But at this point in time in the country, "it is no longer so." Because in the country at the moment,it isn't an easy task to cope with both paying school fees,feeding, transporting, and surviving in school.

The Bad Part Of Being A Student Back Then: That Isn't So Current In The Present Day In School.

What I'd say was bad then and made being a student back then not so good for me was always getting judged by lecturers the most by your physical look or appearance.

Some of them just assume you're not smart, all because you look different from how they expect you to look. And then you'd hear stuff like, "It's only fashion, you know, and nothing else." Which was never like that because some of us just literally like looking good.

And they literally just assume then that the good-looking ones, the quiet ones, and the more jovial ones are the dull ones and the ones who don't know why they came to school. which isn't supposed to be that way, because why judge a book by its cover?.

But I'm happy it's literally not that way anymore, and then people are now wiser and know more of what the outer world is saying.

What can you suggest be done about these disparities?

---

I'd suggest we pray and hope for a better country because it can only be God who can turn everything around in the country. And I believe he's definitely going to come through for all students in their trying times as students at the university.
