How Important Is Skill In A Life Of A Person? You’re curious? Read Up!!!
If you ask me, I feel like the most underrated thing in this part of the world right now is Skill. Skill has a got a very Important role to play in the life of a person. Sometimes a lot of people are actually more focused on just having money and not building skill and value along-sides. There are lots of people out there today that if you take the money they have out of them, their life becomes useless. Take for an instance many fraud stars we have out there today. They literally can’t fend for themselves without making other people cry! It’s actually so disheartening.
And not just that, Also take for an instance a person that works 9-5 for another person. Most of them are not even doing what they have passion for! Which is one of the most common thing in my country to be precise! You’d see a person who really has passion for music becoming a teacher just because they are feeding on the payout. They are so distracted by the money they are being paid by the employers. And at the end of the day, they all have an age limit to work. Something many don’t seem to realize is that with or without that job, you can still survive. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to do, but try so hard to give yourself some timing to achieve what you want and start up your own life.
Not everyone has this inner eyes to see how big they are. Most people have limited minds and it’s really just has a way of keeping them back at the end of the day. Recently, I sat down and I was meditating about life and careers that has got futures in today’s world generally, and I got to realize that many people who are top individuals in the world today had to build a skill or value that stood them out amidst all other individuals. What people find hard to do is growing theirselves in there secret place. Take for an instance a look at the life of Wizkid, Burna boy, Davido And it’s like. These people can literally go on and on making money, even if they are starting from square one! Why? Because they have their all into growing themselves to become who they are today.
The moment you start feeling like people need to appreciate your craft before you do more or grow yourself better, then you might end up giving up. Because most people do not clap for you till you become all great and valuable in your craft and skill. Have a skill and value that you take your time to grow and build so well, day and night! So to be able to get to that level which you really want to see yourself in the future. Have that name and also the value which caters for your needs and wants. It does not just happen over night.
Just imagine if any of this top people you see today go broke today! They will easily bounce back because, they have a skill that can get it all for them. Like Burna Boy now, he charges about like $3 million each or even more for people that wants to invite him for a concert or event. That’s literally the account worth of many people and on the other hand, many other people have never even seen $10,000 before. Some haven’t even seen $1,000 before. He could easily go to perform at any of this concert on his pending list and bounce back easily. He has a value that makes him un disposable.
This applies to Tech Bro’s as well! You can easily start up again without no stress just because you have the skill. Same thing goes with fashion designers! just name it! There are lots and lots of amazing skills to acquire out there. Just make sure you have something that makes you valuable and be so good at your craft that we can’t afford to take our eyes of you! Hold an office that makes you so important in the world. It’s never easy to have a good skill, but note that you’re your biggest investment! Work hard to see that you are really who you want to be in the future.
It’s alarming to see that people are forsaking their creativity, skills and passion for a 9-5 job that takes literally all your time and energy to build someone else. Do your 9-5 job like you do, Gather enough funds to sustain you for the period of time where you will be learning a good Skill for yourself, and watching how great you will become in the next few months or years from now.
