VENATOR KINJO

Having a different approach to things every once in a while keeps the mind sound and sane. Many times before when I feel helpless and at a point of no return, just rearranging my room or taking an entirely different route to work sometimes takes some tension of and gives me the courage to face whatever I was running from. It's almost as though what my eyes were sensing sends a message to my brain that there's other ways to do things and not just one.
When I started drawing the Venator, I decided that I would use just two colors and make the capturing have a background. This is something I'm doing for the first time but it felt right. The Venator is a powerful Monk who I personally wouldn't crosd and I hope you don't too.
Unlike my usual blue convention, I used black to trace out his figure
Once his figure was cemented to some extent, I added some color
I then used black at some points to add what the eyes would perceive as depth
Everything was coming along
I decided to leave the lower part scantily shaded just to see how it would turn out.
The materials I used while making this sketch are Black and Red pens.
You trusted your instincts and you gave it a shot. The result is amazing, great work and thanks for sharing your drawing with us.
