Who do you feed on?

Who is pouring into you? Who feeds your ideas and goals?

Have you ever asked yourself this questions? I sit and just reflect most of the times and I ask myself this question so I thought I should talk about it. I really want to hear your thoughts in the comments section.

As we journey through life, we frequently find ourselves seeking guidance and support to help us sail through our passions, goals and desires. The people who pour into us, feed our ideas play a vital role in shaping us into the best version of ourselves.

The people we surround ourselves with play a notable role in feeding our ideas and goals. They can either elevate us, challenge us, or even hold us back.

When it comes to mentorship, it is an interchange. Mentorship is a relationship where someone with experience and knowledge guides someone who is seeking to learn and grow. A good mentor will inspire you, and a good mentor will offer good advice and also share their own experiences to help you avoid any problems and stay focused on your goals.

I want you all to consider the mentors in your lives. These people are the ones who have walked through the part you aspire to be. It could be a family member or a teacher. Mentors will help you navigate problems and broaden your knowledge. Their encouragement will do nothing but push you to do better.

Another thing is that, think about your friends and coworkers. They can inspire you by sharing ideas, work together, and giving helpful informations. Being part of a supportive group helps us grow and be creative. When we connect with others who have similar goals, we create a space where ideas can thrive. Their achievements can encourage us to push ourselves and aim for the best.

Also, think about what you read or watch every day. When it comes to this, it affected me some time ago when I was letting the negative energy I see and consume push me. But thank God I’ve outgrown that phase and energy. Books, podcasts, social media, and online courses can really affect how we think and what we want. The voices we listen to shape our beliefs. Are you following people who inspire you? Are you engaging with content that makes you think and helps you grow? What we take in can either lift us up or hold us back, so it's important to choose wisely.

Lastly, don’t forget to reflect on yourself. While outside influences matter, the best insights often come from within. Taking time to think about our goals and values helps us understand what we really want. This inner talk can guide us and motivate us. Writing in a journal, meditating, or just spending quiet time alone can help us connect with our true thoughts and feelings.

Mind you, it is important to check who might be draining your energy. Sometimes, we find ourselves surrounded by negative influences. people who criticize, discourage, or belittle our aspirations. These relationships can hinder our growth and lead to self doubt. It is very important to recognize these traits and consider setting boundaries. Surrounding ourselves with positivity and encouragement is good for nurturing our ideas and goals.

In conclusion, the question “Who is pouring into you?” serves as a reminder to assess the influences in our lives. Mentors, peers, and the content we consume all play a role in shaping our aspirations. By surrounding ourselves with supportive and inspiring individuals, we can cultivate an environment that encourages growth and creativity. Lastly , when we self reflect it allows us to connect with our true desires and motivations. Ultimately, it is about finding the right balance between external influences and inside clarity. So, I want us take a moment to reflect on who feeds our ideas and goals, and make conscious choices that will push us toward our dreams.

Thanks for your time
