The economy should not determine your income

I was looking at an interview of one of the bank owners in Nigeria, and he was sharing how he created his bank with just 5 million nairas in the early 90s, I was shocked because presently 5 million nairas only equates to $3000 plus and that can’t even get you to create the app talkless of buying your license simply because then a naira was very close to a dollar. The economy was very good but now the situation is very different.

When I was doing the math, I realized that if you work all your life in Nigeria and you earn majorly in naira, it should be very hard for you to make $10,000 and not to talk off $1 million and that is how terrible the economy is recently but we now having more millionaires in Nigeria even though they make their money from forest trading, dropping shipping, etc. This also convinced me that even if you are living in Nigeria now, you can make $1 million, it seems impossible, but when we are realistic, it is very possible.

We are in the world of possibilities

I know so many Nigerian millionaires are into legal things and some of them are into politics or celebrities, It is easy for a set of people to be $1 million rich. We have those that make their money legally and they prove that you don’t have to get your hands dirty before you make life-changing money, some of them have never been to another country before and They have worked all their life in Nigeria and they are still $1 million rich. We are in a world where everything is possible with the help of technology and also their mindset has a great role to play in doing this.

when I was looking at the recent economic crisis in Nigeria, I realized that the economy is terrible and it will be very difficult to live a normal life in this country but the economy does not determine the amount of money we are going to make in our lifetime, even though the economy has a major row to play but sometimes our mindset is why we limit ourselves to the economy conditions alone. when we look at the economy it can be discouraging but the economy alone will not determine how far we go in our lives and this is where our mindset comes into play.

Change your philosophy

The thing we need now is to change our mindset because we have so many online courses and many opportunities that can make us money. We have to control our economy first before we think about the country's economy. When we can attract what we want it would be easy for us to build and be financially free when we have the correct mindset. we must change our philosophy. always remember having a good economy, can make it easy for you to be successful. It is a headstart for you, but if you don’t have a good economy in your country that doesn’t mean that you cannot be successful the way you want.
