Problem no dey finish

A friend of mine called me today and explained everything he's been going through. He mentioned that even though he made more money this year, he keeps paying more bills every year. The price of goods has doubled, and this has left him feeling sad. He even admitted that a few weeks ago, he had considered suicide, which really scares me. I told him that all of his worries will persist until he takes action. I explained that his problems will continue to stare him in the face until he does something to address them, and that he was only depriving himself of joy.

Many young men often make the mistake of taking on not only their own problems, but also those of their family. Some even feel responsible for the issues of their extended family. While it is important to take care of your family, it's also crucial to remember to take care of yourself. In today's world, people often feel pressured to prove their responsibility, but this can lead to unnecessary stress. It's important to do your best and then let go of the rest. Some people become so overwhelmed by this pressure that it affects their mental well-being, and sadly, some even lose their lives along the way.

Life goes on

"The older I get, the more I realize that our problems are never-ending. As long as you keep trying, there will always be something that needs to be solved. If you let your problems overwhelm you, you might not live long in this world. Sometimes you just have to face your problems and do your best. Give your best effort and let go of the rest. Whether you are alive or not, your problems will still exist. If you lose your life while trying to solve problems, everyone else will move on without you. Consider this: if the people you are trying to take care of don't know you, they will still survive without you."

Many men find themselves overwhelmed by problems, sacrificing their own happiness while trying to take care of others. As the Nigerian saying goes, "problem no dey finish," meaning that problems never truly end. If you allow yourself to be consumed by the problems you can't solve, you may remain unhappy for the rest of your life. While it's important to address issues, sometimes we must accept that problems will arise no matter what and still find joy in life. If we were to die today, everyone else would move on and live their lives to the fullest.

Find peace

"It is important to be responsible, but we can only do our best and let go of the rest. Even if people tell you to your face that you are not responsible, you don't have to mind them. You must also remember that in the midst of everything, sadness only steals your joy and worries only steal your peace. Try as much as possible to find peace in your problems and enjoy your life. Because at the end of the day, if you die, life will move on. Those people whom you think can do without you will be forced to move on without you, without thinking twice."

thanks for your time.

You are so right. I listened to a podcast some weeks ago about finances, I was made to know that responsibilities will arise especially from families and if you ever try to carry all burdens, you will not find rest and peace of mind. Do the ones you can and leave the rest. If you do it, they will move on, and if you don't, they will move on. The truth is, if you keep doing it, they will keep coming until you learn how to say no and look out for yourself.

Amidst everything in this life, finding a way to have peace is crucial.
