Give it time
When it comes to finance, people believe that it is easy to follow what they see online or inside a book. The truth is, it is almost impossible to follow any strategy you see in a book, and this is because money is emotional. Have you ever asked yourself why people don’t save? Almost everybody knows how important it is to save, but still, most people don’t save. Isn't that strange to you?
We don’t make financial decisions based on logic, we make financial decisions based on emotions. This may not sound bad to you, but I want you to sit down and look at yourself you realize that some of your Big spending is based on emotions, not logic. Most of the things that take a big portion of our money are because we are emotionally attached to them not because they are unnecessary apart from paying for our basic needs every other thing that takes so much money away from you is emotional spending. This is the main reason why people find it difficult to follow the advice given to them by some of their financial advisors because it may sound good logically but when we are in that situation real life is our emotions that do the spending.
It is easier said than done, but I have a trick that can help you
Most big companies know about this and tell the conscious things we need to buy. What they do is that they spend so much money on advertisements and they make sure that nowhere you go you will see their product advert on the signboard, YouTube, and social media make sure they convince you to believe that you have a reason to buy their product and this is where your emotion comes in. you start thinking about the product and give yourself reasons to buy it but the truth is you’ve been surviving before the product came out and after you get to know about the product, you realize that it’s kind of difficult for you to live your life and that is your emotion as a talking.
I saw a trick on YouTube that whatever thing you want to buy first give it time. I know this may sound easy but it works a lot. I’ve been using this trick for a while and it has helped me anytime I want to buy anything, give it two or three weeks' break. You realize that the emotions will fade over time and you will come back to your senses and this is when you ask yourself questions whether you need that product or not. It is a simple trick but is effective because what it those is that it gives you time to gain back your reasoning and not make decisions based on your emotions nothing will overload your judgment.
So big
Emotion is a big part of finance, for you to understand that emotion is money, anytime we are buying or investing in any product There is always emotion towards it. It is almost impossible to always put your emotions aside this can make or break you when it comes to investment. You can invest based on emotion and be lucky and you can do that and be bad. It is just part of our DNA to do things with emotions, but we must always put in check not to make mistakes.
Thanks for your time.
