Free your mind

I have said in my previous post that money can buy happiness but these have everything to do with us whether we are a slave to money or free. You can be a slave to money in such a way that you are never satisfied. How can you be happy when you are never satisfied this is the category that some people find themselves in. I know people in Africa who own more than three houses and more than enough cars. They are not happy, they complain about their life when they struggle to get some things, and if you look at their life compared to other people, they are better than 80% of the population and they are not happy with themselves because they are not satisfied.

When people talk about financial freedom, I believe they have to ask themselves what they want because this will determine whether they are financially free or not. You might have all the money in the world and you can be in financial shackles because you want to buy every shiny thing you see. The way the world is designed There will always be new things every year and if your mentality is not right, you might never be truly happy and always be constantly sad because you can’t afford the new shining thing in town.

Be free from self

To Be financially free you have to be free from yourself. We have to find what freedom means to us. That’s why you see some people are doing far less than you and they are contented and They are living so happily that you become jealous of them and there is no magic to this, they free their mind from wanting more and appreciate the little they had. Some people might see this as settling for less but this is far from the truth.

If you can’t provide for your basic needs, it is a must that you be sad that is why I support the motion that money can buy happiness, but to be financially free is a different beast because you have to be free from yourself and easiest way to be free from yourself is free your mind and understand that you cannot have it all. You can have it all and still be slaves to money and that is why building a good relationship with money is also how to build financial freedom.

Build it

It is a must that we build a relationship with money, and this is also understanding that the economy should not determine our happiness, flashy things should not determine our happiness, and also understanding how to manage our money to provide for our basic needs and afford the life we want should be our priority because all this thing works together and you are not truly free if you have a slave mentality towards money.
