I know someone who has a wide range of skills, but he struggles to decide how to use them. He knows a little about a lot of things, which makes it difficult for him to choose a specific path. He always makes time to learn new things, but he doesn't often take action on what he's learned. When you have the determination to learn but lack the drive to apply that knowledge, it can be quite frustrating.

This also happens to people who are trying to diversify their business. You must always have something that you truly focus on that brings all your money and all your money must come from a particular company. You cannot go into everything at the same time, my friend knows so much that is difficult to choose a particular skill to build upon. This is the main reason why everything he has learned has always been wasted; he has never really chosen something, which makes those skills look as if they can not work for him.

Build a reputation with a skill

There is nothing bad in seeking knowledge, but it will be bad for you not to build on the things you know, one of the things my friend struggles so much with is that he has not been able to build on the skills he has and is also seeking more knowledge. This also happens in business, you have not built the business that you are managing but you already considering another one. you must first build a reputation where you find yourself, Let people know you with something before considering another thing.

It's important to use your skills instead of letting them go to waste. Even if you've mastered a skill, if you don't build a reputation around it, no one will know about it or support you. It's essential to create awareness around your skills so that people recognize your abilities. One common mistake people make is not establishing a reputation with their skills and jumping to something new just because someone else is successful in that area.

Trust the process

Some people cannot trust the process, which is why they are not satisfied with their skills. They believe the skills they possess are not enough, so they keep looking elsewhere for new skills instead of building on what they already have. Sometimes, all we have to do is trust the process. If we are not willing to build on what we have, we will keep searching without finding, and the skills we have acquired will go to waste. It is important to build a reputation with our current skills instead of constantly seeking new ones. Seeking knowledge is not a bad thing, but it must be done in the right way.
