Sugarcane plant hopper
Pyrilla perpusilla commonly known as Sugarcane plant hopper or pyrilla tebu is mainly found in Asian countries such as India. It is a major sucking pest of sugarcane that reduces yields.
Its size is very small which is almost invisible without a macro lens. Insects are found in abundance on the tops of plants, especially on sugarcane plants.
It is a bit difficult to photograph, although it does not just fly away, it moves continuously around the branches it perches on. For now, I have only found this wareng in brown, I don't know if this type also has other colors.
