Eurydema oleracea
Eurydema oleracea is a species of shield bug in the Pentatomidae family and is commonly known as rapeseed bug, crucifer shield bug, cabbage bug or brassica bug.
Generally, these beetles vary greatly. Starting from their size to color patterns.
This insect has an unpleasant odor when held it will leave a rotten aroma and can make the skin feel like it is burning, as if it has poison on its body. It is useful for warding off predators that will prey on it.
But this insect is also a pest for plants, because its presence on plants can damage growth, especially for agricultural crops.
