Ciao ragazzi!

Ci siamo, anche in questi giorni così estivi, quasi metà di agosto e ci siamo di nuevo qui per partecipare nel 39º contest di #UntoBisunto creato dalla comunità Olio di Balena, dove condividiamo i nostri posts su un tema suggerito ogni settimana. E questa settimana il tema è proprio adeguato alla stagione, è sulle nostre vacanze, e scrivere un pò su quelle sono state le più belle, straordinarie oppure strane mai vissute. Bello tema davvero!

E nel mio caso, cosa dire? Posso confessare di essere stata molto fortunata perchè per un tempo ho viaggiato molto, anzi, ho vissuto perfino in altri paesi e ho potuto scoprire tanti posti affascinante, e perciò faccio un pò fatica a dover sceglierne uno, ma lo faccio per varie ragioni: perchè quel posto è uno dei più indimenticabili (e belli), per i ricordi, e per motivi pratici, cioè, ho ancora parecchie foto malgrado avessi già condiviso qualche post di viaggio prima. Ma nessun problema, posso ora condividerne di più e tornare a ricordare quella magnifica esperienza.

Avete presente quei posti che guardate sulla TV o dei quali ne sentite parlare ma che pensate di non potere andare mai? Oppure quelli molto conosciuti al mondo ma che non avete idea (neanche tanto interesse) di vedere di persona e che solo appaiono in qualche documentario? Vi viene in mente qualcuno?

E cosa provereste se per cose sorprendenti della vita un giorni vi trovaste in qualche posto del genere, così straordinario? E di scatto, tutto sembra un sogno. E proprio ciò che mi è successo... ma qual'è quel posto così bello e indimenticabile? Si tratta del Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone negli Stati Uniti. (Si infatti, quello dei vecchi cartoni animati del orso che rubava cestini di picnic ai turisti...)

Volevo andarci? In realtà no, vabbè si, ma non pensavo nemmeno andare negli Stati Uniti invece ce ne sono andata per alcuni mesi, e sorpresa... alcuni amici avevano programmato un lungo weekend di vacanze in questo parco, e mi hanno invitato ad unirmi a quel viaggio incredibile, e non potevo dire di no. Sicuramente fosse un'opportunità unica nella vita!

E non me ne sono pentita, al contrario, non potrei essere più sodisfatta e sentirmi più gradita di poter aver vissuto quell'esperienza in un posto così speciale e fantastico. E fantastico semplicemente perchè è naturale, ma dove la natura si mostra in modo spettacolare in tutti i sensi, e certamente provi che tutti i tuoi sensi sono coinvolti nel percorso verso il cuore della natura e della vita selvaggia. Viste mozzafiato, montagne maestose, colori meravigliosi, olori strani, paesaggi sereni, vapori vellutati, acque magiche e animali selvaggi reali, insomma vita veramente viva.

Condivido qui alcune di queste foto che ho, ne ho tante ma perchè ci sono un sacco di cose diverse da vedere. C'è la parte iniziale dell'altro parco Grand Teton, con una grande montagna e il lago, poi pianure boscose, prati infiniti e fiumi impetuosi e continuiamo a rimanere a bocca aperta perchè troviamo ancora tantissime altre cose belle e scopriamo che la vita natura è una meraviglia!

Com'è possibile queste acque piene di colori di sostanze naturali che riflettono proprio un arcobaleno di fantasia? E le immagini sembrano di un altro mondo che non conoscevamo. E attraversiamo percorsi vaporosi e solforosi come estratti da un film di magia finchè arriviamo alla potenza potente dell'acqua calda che esce dalla terra quasi fino al cielo.

E non dimentichiamo la vita degli animali, che sono selvaggi ma vivono con totale tranquillità in tutti gli spazi, in quelli per l'accoglienza dei turisti ma anche nelle strade dove dobbiamo fermarci e lasciarli passare (ovviamente) e nei loro ecosistemi dove si sentono al loro agio senz'altro. E allo stesso tempo è possibile essere soltanto a centimetri di alcuni animali che sembrano pericolosi ma invece qui camminano accanto le macchine, sapendo che non possiamo accelerare molto ma che in realtà ce la godiamo così, allo stesso ritmo, mentre ci sentiamo noi parte di questa natura che ci permette di godercela così come in un sogno mai sognato.

Here we are, even in these very summery days, almost mid-August, and here we are again to participate in the 39th #UntoBisunto contest created by the Olio di Balena community, where we share our posts on a suggested theme each week. And this week's theme is perfectly suited to the season: it's about our holidays, and writing a bit about those that were the most beautiful, extraordinary, or strange we've ever experienced. A truly beautiful theme!

And in my case, what can I say? I can confess that I've been very lucky because for a while I traveled a lot, in fact, I even lived in other countries and was able to discover so many fascinating places. So, I have a hard time choosing just one, but I do so for several reasons: because that place is one of the most unforgettable (and beautiful), for the memories, and for practical reasons—namely, I still have quite a few photos even though I'd already shared a few travel posts before. But no problem, I can now share more and reminisce about that magnificent experience.

You know those places you watch on TV or hear about but think you'll never get to? Or those well-known places that you have no idea (or even much interest) about seeing in person, and that only appear in documentaries? Can you think of any?

And how would you feel if, through some surprising thing in life, you found yourself one day in a place like that, so extraordinary? And suddenly, everything seems like a dream. And that's exactly what happened to me... but what is that place so beautiful and unforgettable? It's Yellowstone National Park in the United States. (Yes, the one from the old cartoons about the bear who stole picnic baskets from tourists...)

Did I want to go there? Actually, no, okay, yes, but I wasn't even thinking about going to the United States. Instead, I went for a few months, and surprise... some friends had planned a long weekend vacation in this park, and they invited me to join that incredible trip, and I couldn't say no. It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

And I don't regret it; on the contrary, I couldn't be more satisfied and grateful to have had that experience in such a special and fantastic place. It's fantastic simply because it's natural, but where nature displays itself spectacularly in every sense, and you certainly feel all your senses engaged on the journey to the heart of nature and wildlife. Breathtaking views, majestic mountains, wonderful colors, strange scents, serene landscapes, velvety vapors, magical waters, and real wild animals, in short, truly alive life.

I'm sharing some of these photos here, I have many because there are so many different things to see. There's the initial part of the other Grand Teton park, with a large mountain and lake, then wooded plains, endless meadows, and rushing rivers, and we continue to be amazed because we find so many more beautiful things and discover that life in nature is a marvel!

How is it possible that these waters, filled with the colors of natural substances, reflect a truly imaginary rainbow? And the images seem to be from another world we never knew existed. And we traverse vaporous, sulfurous paths, as if taken from a magical film, until we reach the powerful force of the hot water rising from the earth almost to the sky.

And let's not forget the lives of animals, who are wild but live completely peacefully in all spaces, in those intended for tourist reception but also on the streets where we must stop and let them pass (obviously), and in their ecosystems where they certainly feel at ease. And at the same time, it's possible to be only inches away from some animals that seem dangerous, but here they walk alongside the cars, knowing we can't speed much but that in reality we're enjoying it like this, at the same pace, while we feel part of this nature that allows us to enjoy it as if in an undreamed dream.
