First time in the lodge
And when it comes to concerts, apparently the last one...
Because the party is on the ground floor π
This weekend, on March 8, I had the opportunity to provide tickets for Marija Ε erifoviΔ's concert as a gift for the holiday to the women in my life.
I don't know who of you had the opportunity to hear about this extraordinary singer (silly but she sings well), but she is also known outside the region, because she was the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 (and who had the opportunity to listen to her live, I believe she enjoyed it).
An additional surprise was that these were tickets for the lodge.
A total of six of us, a welcome drink awaited us in the box, chilled Prosseco, with which we toasted while enjoying the spectacle on stage.
There was enough space in the lodge for dancing, however, the experience was not like when we were at Maria's concert a few years ago, a few rows away from the stage.
But the stage is crowded, so if you want to sit and enjoy the music, it's almost impossible, because when someone gets up from the seat in front of you, you also have to get up to see the stage...
That's why for concerts where there is dancing, I like to choose an event that has a standing floor, not comfortable armchairs.
This time, we enjoyed from the lodge, with a glass of chilled Prosecco wine, and the spectacle of song, music, lighting and other accompanying elements (artificial smoke, fire, sprinklers and confetti).

Songs, according to my choice, something for foreigners, who know the songs that Marija performed, two songs known in the region, and finally two of her songs, with which she closed the concert.
I hope that the recording can evoke at least a fraction of the atmosphere and that you will enjoy Marija's performance, as it did for me.

View point from high up! I love such but yeah, I agree, less connected with the atmosphere itself. For too many decades, I go to festivals. And you know what? For too many decades, I prefer a (back)stage thingy so I can go into the wild whenever I want, but also can go to a much less crowded spot outside the masses whenever I want and need. Fortunately I have friends who can accommodate such an experience for me, most of the time. Some artists and some promoters/stage managers don't like 'visitors' or better said 'groupies' on stage. I hate them! πππ They dont allow my hot spot πππ
Back to you and your event. I do hope you liked it very much and your women have high gratitude for you with the experience you have given them. When will be the next event you'll plan to attend?

Tomorrow evening I have another event waiting for me, a club version, but a musician whom I listened to at such a big concert. I hope I have a great time π
