Walking and swimming in a Montenegrin bay

The day that started very early, when I was already sitting on the plane at dawn, I spent in the beginning very static.

I sat back in the seat by the window and watched the peaks of the high mountains, over which the plane transported me to Montenegro.

I had some work at sea, which I thought I would finish quickly, but as always when my work depends on the work of another colleague, something is bound to go wrong 🙂

The day was very warm, clear and sunny, and the work that was giving us a headache (IT problem), we did not manage to solve. Instead of finishing the job in two or three hours and returning to the hotel where we had reserved rooms (a hotel with swimming pools and a SPA center), we at the location where we worked walked from Rack closet to Rack closet a hundred times and sadly looked at the sea, in which we did not plan to swim at first, because we had booked a SPA.
But, as the day progressed and we became aware that there was nothing to enjoy in the SPA center at the hotel, as soon as we somehow managed to solve the problem, we listened to the suggestion of the locals and from the parking lot nearby, made an extra effort and went down to the sea to have a short swim and freshen up.

Actually going down to the sea down 120 steps was no effort at all, it came later, when you had to go up those 120 steps 😅

I went out onto a small concrete beach, where, after a short soak, I waded into the water to acclimatize.

I noticed a group, a couple of girls and young men, who were crossing the rocks from that small beach to a wooden jetty.
A private beach, I thought. "No. The owners of the houses in that part of the beach built it to make access to the beach more pleasant for themselves, but you can walk on that part. Although it makes no sense when they are there 🙂.
Now the gates are closed, the beach seemed deserted and there was no reason not to swim on that well-groomed beach," they told me.
I followed them, making my way to the jetty and exiting on the concrete steps, taking care not to step on any sea urchins.

This bay near Boka Kotorska is small but very beautiful.
The water is incredibly clean, which is confirmed by the presence of small black urchins in addition to its crystal clarity.

And I especially like the fact that you can see the open sea on the horizon.
The swim had to end quickly, because the day was already coming to an end, and with a short walk along the beautifully landscaped shore with this bench, which I didn't sit on anyway (out of respect for those who put it there 🙂 ), I finished my #wednesdaywalk and swim on Wednesday.

Again by stairs, this time uphill, passing by cacti and various greenery, I found myself at the parking lot from where I started to the beach.

I reached the car and ended today's adventure by driving to the hotel for the night.
