Preparation for spring blossoming and short #WednesdayWalk
Wednesday morning.
In my mind I walk out of the building where I was in an exhausting meeting.
When you work in a company that is located in a complex with a total area of 60 hectsre, you usually have to go from the office to the building by car, unless you want to afford a slightly longer walk.
At that moment, I didn't even remember that it was Wednesday, nor did I think about #wednesdaywalk.
I just wanted to stretch my legs a little and get all my thoughts out of my head and forget about the difficult topic of that meeting.
I thanked my colleague who offered to give me a lift and I headed towards the building where my office is located.
Passing by the orchard, my attention was drawn to the sound of whistling and snapping of dry branches.
I looked in the direction where the sound was coming from and saw a man holding electric pruning shears in his hands while whistling some happy tune.
"Happy work," I greeted him.
"Thank you, here you go," he greeted with a smile.
You're welcome, my friend, I'd probably like to join you, but it's not worth it, I have a lot of work waiting for me in the office that I have to finish today.
I apologized to him regarding the pruning of the fruit trees that he was doing now. I was interested, because I have some of those varieties on my plot.
Cherry, apricot, plum and peach.
Hundreds of fruit trees, neatly lined up in rows, stand like soldiers and wait their turn to be prepared for spring blossoming.
These are the fruit trees that this man planned to prune in the coming days. Only when he cuts the last one, he will be able to say that the work is finished, but without tension, pressure and deadlines.
He did his job with a song, without tiring his brain.
Bless him.
I, after a short rest, somewhere halfway, continued my walk towards the office and tasks that tire the brain. Along the way, I took pictures of some more fruit trees and pruned branches that were left scattered on the grass.
Wednesday has come and is slowly passing by, the weekend is approaching, and I am sharing with you this short walk of mine today.
Thank you for stopping by my post and I hope you enjoyed the photos and the story I shared with you
All photos are my property, taken with a mobile phone
Back when I worked I had to sometimes walk betwene office buildings for meetings and had many exhausting meetings I welcomed the walk back between buildings to clear my head and get refreshed and motivated
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk and have a great day
