My Hive blockchain journey

Talk about positive effects, today when Hive is at a minimum for the last few years... Only the brave and dedicated, only real Hive maximalists can do that 💪

My arrival in Hive BC (Web3 Social Network) happened at the moment when I was looking for a refuge from the storms that were whipping me in the Crypto market, in my first bear market.

I needed to switch off from constantly following charts and trend lines, not to think about the money I put into Crypto to buy coins, which had less and less value every day.

And I succeeded in that.
I met some great people on Hive, who shared their experiences with me, based on which I understood how crypto works and how cycles behave.
And hanging out here, I don't even have time to spend on crypto.

That association with new people, the comments and thoughts we exchange are another aspect of the positive effect of Hive on my life.
I make acquaintances, listen opinions, listen to some news, see places I would like to visit.
And I write some of my thoughts. I post pictures of some of my experiences and tours, show others what I saw and recommend if it's worth it.
And that posting is the third positive influence on me. All the beautiful and interesting places I saw, I check on Pinmapple (now Worldmappin) and save permanently on Hive BC.
At the same time, I am improving my knowledge of English, which is not my native language and which has always "squeaked" for me, whether I write or speak it.
By communicating on Hive, it seems that my English language skills are improving a little 🙂

Hive BC is not a quick in/out place. It is the place where I want to be forever, to develop and grow, to make more new acquaintances, to hear many more interesting stories and to share my interesting stories with all of you.

When I draw a parallel with one game (Dominoes), every moment here seems to me like stacking tiles, which can be stacked in an infinite sequence, as many times as the player wants.

Like in dominoes, on Hive it's fun guaranteed.

And what do I want? I want my Hive journey to be long and continuous...
The title of a Serbian domestic film came to mind, which I will slightly modify for this occasion and at the same time congratulate you on eight years of traveling to Hive BC: "When I grow up, I will be @galenkp".

"When I grow up, I will be @galenkp".

I'm sure that's many "Hive children's" dream. Why not ?😀

Although it is written in the Bible: "Do not make yourself an idol..." each of us in segments of life (such as Hive's life), should have a role model, whose behavior and actions should be aspired to.

None of the old Hives who have been here for 6, 7 or 8 years are still here today, because they did something wrong.
They are here because they were on the right path.
And who better to learn something from than old and dedicated members.

PS 🙂
The original title of the film is: "When I grow up, I will be a Kangaroo".
Kangaroo is the name of a movie character who became a goalkeeper in the English Premier League and as a successful goalkeeper, the kids from the area where he came from had a role model in him...

I’m glad that you’ve had a great experience with hive and I think it’s good to largely ignore the market action of it right now, other than to be aware f the fluctuations. It comes and it goes, but we will persist!

I think the social aspect of it is definitely top notch, where we can come here to share passions of things like crypto and meet and have genuine discussions with other people around these topics. On other mainstream platforms you are likely to encounter bots, fake people and the like to ruin your experience. Hive has genuine people and that’s great! Not all of them are nice but so many are and I think that’s so important!

Looking forward to many more years on here that’s for sure!

Still I couldn't ignore Hive at such a low price 🙂
Even though I wrote that I was only interested in organic growth, I still spent a few dollars on yesterday's $0.21

But yes, I'm keeping a cool head enjoying hanging out with you all here while humming softly "Que Sera, Sera" ❤️

I hope my English will also improve with Hive, although I doubt it. Sharing comments or reading posts are also a fundamental part of Hive for me. I hope to keep learning from you Hivers who have been on Hive for years.

Regards @duskobgd

That's a great HIVE story that you have here!

I needed to switch off from constantly following charts and trend lines, and not think about the money I put into Crypto to buy coins, which had less and less value every day.
And I succeeded in that.

I think that I did the same in 2019 when I was on my knees in the middle of a bear market... and it does exactly that... The perfect distraction from charts and crypto craziness... And it gets better through time... :)

Thanks 🙂

They say that every beginning is difficult (when something happens to us for the first time...). now I can't wait for the next bear matket in the new cycle (if we are not in it 🤣), to see how I will behave.

Oh... be careful what you wish for... And no need to get into the bear too early... lol... 😃
