Makeup transformation? Still, no.

Today I was sitting with my friend and his partner and we talked about our years (ours, when we turn 50) 🙂

He broke his leg a month ago, and today he asked me to take him for a check-up, to find out if it is time to remove the cast or if he will still have to have surgery.
Unfortunately, the bone did not heal properly and he is scheduled for surgery.
While, after the examination, we sat together and drank coffee, his partner jokingly said: "This happens to older people, that the bones are no longer strong, as in youth, so that they break easily and heal with difficulty."
"Well, how can you say something like that," I asked her, "Well, you're our age, we went to the same class in elementary school."
"You are wrong, my friend, I am one year younger than you".
"OK, and you look younger than us, but not just a year, I'd say a decade."
"Ah, no, it's because of my makeup".

And as soon as she said that, she reminded me of one of this week's topics, designed by galenkp:

Do you prefer women to wear a lot of makeup or only a little? Which do you find more attractive and why?

And I remembered an anecdote from my youth.

I was sitting at a house party with a beautiful girl.
The high heels she wore all evening made her feet ache, so she really enjoyed the massage I gave her.
"Thank you, you're wonderful," she told me.
"You're welcome," I answered her.
"And you are wonderful and beautiful".
She looked at me a little taken aback, and then she said what hardly any girl is ready to admit: "No matter how beautiful I am, I'm just have full makeup."

"If I took off my hair extensions, put on glasses instead of the colored lenses I wear now, took off my false eyelashes, wiped my drawn eyebrows, took off my full make-up, liners, powders, mascara and eye shadow, lipstick, and then a pushup bra, gel coating from my nails, a corset for my stomach, butt and thighs and nylon stockings with corsets that make my legs look nicer, I don't think I would be so beautiful to you anymore".
"I wear so much makeup that sometimes I don't even recognize myself in the mirror," she told me honestly.

Make-up, like a kind of mask that some girls put on their face, should, in my opinion, serve to cover small flaws, various dimples, scars and pores on the skin, but never completely change the face of a girl who decides to use heavy make-up.

Personally, it's not that I don't like it, but I've never been attracted to girls who have botoxed their lips and faces, so they look like ducks. I never wanted to meet one of them on a Saturday night, with an excessive amount of foundation and make-up, that I can't recognize on a Sunday morning...

Light make-up, a little powder and shadow around the eyes, lipstick on the lips and neatly trimmed and polished nails, in my opinion, is enough for the beautiful appearance of a woman (and also a man, if he likes it 🙂).

A little cellulite on the thighs, a little fat on the butt and stomach, smaller breasts, sometimes unwaxed legs and intimate regions, a face without plucked eyebrows and without a trace of makeup, without artificial nails and with a beautiful smile, who sometimes knows how to apply moderate make-up is a woman I love and want to wake up next to every day.

Full makeup, it only makes sense for the stage, for mannequins and sometimes for some celebrations. I don't think it's OK to put it on our faces every day.
