Drop a bomb and kill some thug?

I must say that this is not the first time that such an idea has crossed my mind.

And it hangs around someone else's πŸ™‚
If you could throw a live hand grenade into any room on the planet, who would you want to be in that room? People from history and the present are eligible.

But I always somehow weighed the guilt of my soul and the guilt of the soul of the one who would receive that grenade as a gift.
As well as the moral question: "Who are you to decide whether someone should live or not".

Today's topic reminded me of a gruesome story I heard from a contract soldier with whom I shared a guard post in 2004, while I was serving in the military.
It was spring, very warm days, and as the command allowed us, we could roll up our shirt sleeves above the lacquer.
My colleague, a couple of years older than me, a soldier, only a senior sergeant by rank, did not roll up his sleeves, and did not take off the scarf he always wore around his neck.
On one occasion, I asked him "Why?", not knowing what kind of hell he had gone through and not knowing that that story would remain deeply etched in my memory, how terrible and gruesome it is.
Etched as deep as the scars he showed me on his body when he stripped down to his waist to his uniform.

In the country where we lived, in 1991 there was a civil war.
Maybe you heard about the breakup of Yugoslavia in those years?

Neighbors from yesterday, they looked at each other through the sights every day, wishing for each other's extermination.
Fucking politics!

I was a teenager at the time, and my fellow soldier was a young man, just starting university.
One day, an opposing paramilitary formation invaded his place, broke into houses, tied up, arrested, raped and stole everything in front of them, shot his parents and tortured him, like in the worst horror movies.

They strip him naked and put out cigarettes on his body, cut his skin with knives, hit him with the butts of their weapons.

When he was no longer showing signs of life, unconscious, they threw him into the empty pool in his yard and threw two defensive hand grenades next to him. They turn at the moment when small shrapnel falls on their helmets, and leave thinking that they have sealed his fate.

"God didn't want me to die that day," he told me, and in addition to God's will, he also mentioned physics and, for him, a lucky choice of the type of grenade.

Because if he had not been lying on the floor unconscious and had reflexively tried to get away, he would have risen from the floor and the shrapnel from the exploded bomb, detonating from the floor, would have killed him...
Or if his tormentors had thrown just one offensive hand grenade into the pool, the blast wave would have torn him to pieces.

This is how he survived, moved out of his home and never returned there.

So now I would like to return to the topic and question, could I be someone who would throw a hand grenade at another living being.
I believe I wouldn't, because I would be sorry to throw a firecracker too, especially if that someone didn't cause me any pain, suffering or damage.

Although this is a decentralized platform, I would still not leave examples from today, which of the political leaders, I would get rid of with one hand grenade, so that I don't resent the miscreants, who probably don't even know me, because I socialize and in my life I am surrounded only by virtuous and honest people, not scoundrels(Hulja ili Δ†aci).
But still, let me not threaten πŸ™‚

I'll go back in time a bit and name three characters.

I would very much like to, if such a thing were possible, after I would go back in time in a time machine, for example to the year 1930, sit them at a small table, in a small room without windows, with an armored door, and while they are playing a game of preferences, drinking whiskey and smoking tompus, just in case, I would insert one bomb for each of them, two defensive and one offensive, so that by any chance one of them would not survive.

Because we can all assume that the world would be a better place if something like that could be done?

In this way, with their leadership, tens of millions of people died all over the world.

For the three of them, from this perspective, when I know what they have done to the world, I would not question my principles and morals, but then (in 1930) if I were not a time traveler and if I did not know what they would do in the future, I would probably take it so that I could not even throw a firecracker at those three good people and would ask to join in the game, but to change the game to bridge πŸ˜€
But I would fuck myself πŸ˜…
