so i was thinking

so i was having a piss earlier, and i noticed the stream was vertical
and it was then that i realised, the i is vertical
lady pars are also vertical
where as eyes and mouth
are horizontal
and i realised
there's actualy a reason
it helps
with drainage

whereas mouth and eyes need to retain water, the other wants to get the water away as fast as possible.
vertical entrance assists with this
