Jueves de TBT

Un saludo inmenso a todos los amantes y fieles seguidores del TBT, que ya nos damos cita cada jueves y nos encontramos sin falta en estas páginas de #topfamily, gracias a la ya esperada iniciativa de @lanzjoseg.

He de confesar, dicho sea de paso, que es este uno de mis concursos favoritos de siempre, porque nos convoca a viajar en el tiempo y regresar de la mano con lo más hermoso del recuerdo para compartirlo con los amigos de esta comunidad.

Pues hoy, con mucha alegría, les comparto esta foto y enseguida les cuento

En mi viaje al pasado, me he traido esta foto que quiero compartir con ustedes, de una gran amiga (que ya es como familia) y excelente artista que conocí hace unos años gracias a un evento de mujeres trovadoras. Su nombre es Déborah Parra y es de esas hermanas menores que la vida me dejó escoger para que desde ya formara parte de mi sangre y mis alegrías.
Es una foto que guardo con mucho cariño y sentí la necesidad imperiosa de publicar, puesto que hay un dato curioso con respecto a ella.

Cada jueves, así como el TBT, tenermos una peña, donde confluyen músicos y poetas de la ciudad de Camagüey, en uno de los centros de promoción del Centro Provincial del Libro y la Literatura. Hicimos esta foto precisamente un jueves, la primera vez que fue invitada a nuestra peña a deleitar con su talento. Muy próxima a graduarse en la especialidad de guitarra de la Escuela de Música, con una voz característica, potente y afinada, además de su personalidad colmada de energía y buenas vibras.

Cuando dije que viajábamos al pasado y traíamos de la mano las cosas preciadas, lo dije de manera LITERAL, puesto que hoy, regresa a nosotros el jueves (uno de mis días favoritos de la semana), el TBT, la peña...y sí!!!... fue inevitable elegir esta foto de mi amiga para presentárselas, puesto que hoy, estará nuevamente con nosotros en nuestro espacio, el Café Literario Tengo, justo a las 2PM, para degustar de un buen café y la buena música.

Ojalá y puedieran acompañarnos!!!

I must confess, by the way, that this is one of my all-time favorite contests, because it invites us to travel back in time and return hand in hand with the most beautiful memories to share with the friends of this community. Today, with great joy, I'm sharing this photo with you, and I'll tell you about it in a moment.

On my trip down memory lane, I brought back this photo that I want to share with you. It's of a great friend (who's like family now) and an excellent artist I met a few years ago at a women singer-songwriter event.

Her name is Déborah Parra, and she's one of those younger sisters that life allowed me to choose, so that she's already part of my blood and my joy. It's a photo I cherish, and I felt a strong need to share it because there's an interesting fact about her.

Every Thursday, just like on Throwback Thursday (TBT), we have a gathering where musicians and poets from the city of Camagüey come together at one of the promotional centers of the Provincial Center for Books and Literature. We took this photo on a Thursday, the first time she was invited to our gathering to delight us with her talent.

She's about to graduate with a degree in guitar from the School of Music, and she has a distinctive, powerful, and perfectly pitched voice, as well as a personality brimming with energy and good vibes.

When I said we were traveling back in time and bringing back precious things, I meant it LITERALLY, because today, Thursday (one of my favorite days of the week), Throwback Thursday, and the gathering return... and yes!!!... it was inevitable that I would choose this photo of my friend to share with you, since today she'll be with us again at our space, the Tengo Literary Café, right at 2 PM, to enjoy a good coffee and good music.
