What if I told you my marriages were just contracts with the state and none of them were built to last. Rather, they were built to take advantage of tax and health benefits provided when you are married.

The significance of my committed relationship never mattered with a piece of paper, it was a mutual beneficial relationship between two people based on their communication and understanding. Once we no longer wanted to be together, we amicably ended the marriage contract without lawyers in accordance to our mutual agreement.

It all comes down to the communication, not the contract.
