A Frozen Water Stream

Today on my walk back home I came across a frozen-over water stream, I found it quite interesting as the past few days have been extremely cold over here in the United Kingdom, and what is usually a tiny trickle of a stream has developed into quite the icy miniature lake. I guess the constant ever flow of water, wherever it originates from helped it grow continuously as it froze over. The roads by my house will be a slushy mess tomorrow when it melts further. 😅

Damn...is it that cold over there that the streams are freezing over? Wow!

Any snowfall as well?

We had some snow about a week ago which I definitely expected more, its gotten colder since then! Thankfully I believe today was the last of the bad weather, supposed to calm down going forward (i hope 😅)

There is always bit colder in mountains even low "high stone" wysoki kamen in czech is in peak something like 1000m . Those day was Warmer than nowaday so it was ok for short jump (2h up and down, rather slow pace) ... wind on the peak rocks formation gave most chill, but it was fine. 😀

I've never seen it like this, it's very interesting how it's all frozen.

I imagine there comes a time when we want a change of temperature, I love cold and rain, but at some point I think I'd get tired of it too if it happened all the time.
