Hi my thoughtful friends. Let's talk about the thoughts we get when we are trying to study.

I am a doctor by profession and I had to do a lot of reading for my academics. In our country, the tests conducted for the post of a doctor are very tough and so are the entry tests for MBBS. This thing had shaped my teenage years and I have to live in accordance to that.

Today, I am going to enlighten you guys about that. There are multiple thoughts that we all face when we are studying. One of them is laziness or procrastination. I used to procrastinate a lot. I used to delay a lot of my tasks, but I overcame that through being sincere to myself. I told myself that I take this for granted, my life will be taken for granted in coming years.

Another thought that we should be thinking when reading something is that we have to learn for ourselves. Our competition is with ourselves and not with others. Most of the people are running in a rat race and in that course, forget to enjoy and learn from the depth of books.

A thing that helped me with my studies was setting up my desk. I used to set aesthetics very clearly. These helped me in staying motivated and focused. Focus is the key when you are trying to study something. Do give it a try. When you are alone alone from your random negative thoughts, that's when you can really focus.

Music is something that has helped me in so many ways. I am sure it has done the same for you. I used to listen to calm music when I really had to concentrate over a topic. Music is the best therapy as they say. Have you tried it?
