I found this article that may shed some more light. Apparently, according to this source, the same kid as been used to propagate anti Israel propaganda.
I'm not against Israel or Palestine. Nor am I against keeping children safe from harm. However chasing a kid in a peaceful protest just because he was presumably "unattended" as the sources say. Having the flag had nothing to do with this encounter.
This boy has been detained(another word for arrested) temporarily and returned to his parents with no charges. According to the glorified terrorist organization they were protecting the boy from a "potentially dangerous protest" which I highly doubt as none has shown and signs of violence.
I do disagree with many headlines to make this event into clickbait for their propaganda whether it's for pro Israel or anti Israel or pro Palestinian and anti Palestine protests.
The kid didn't do anything but protest along side the crowd and got scared and ran when approached by the police and you know how wolves love the chase.
well.... there's got to be a limit? or not?
should we open strip bars for kids??
so where is the limit? my last response was before reading this and fits perfectly here. I don't care about sides (israel/palestine), and I don't care if it was peaceful or not. I still think it's not a place for a kid, even worse if parents were not present.
I agree with your statement 100%. Kids shouldn't be used to make a message clear. That's what the picket signs are for. But one has to ask, was freedom of expression violated that day, or did the cops really had the best interest at heart in protecting the boy?
All in all I don't think we'll be seeing the last of this kids attempts to be with this crowd. As for whoever is using him to bait in the politicians should be the one to be put into question. It's weak man energy to send children to governments to antagonize them just to leave a message. And very dangerous as we know how dangerous cops can be especially in a country where free speech is being oppressed.
Personally hell no. And they don't belong in any areas.
In similar situations, teachers have in the usa taken kids to drag shows(strip club with men) as a field trip. A "clever"(sarcasm) way to groom children into perversion.
Where do we draw the line?
In ethics. Ethics draws the line.
Did the child belong there? Probably not and especially not with people who will exploit him for propaganda. Although it is the child's right to protest, it's not morally right to leave a kid to do so unattended. But kids will have their rebellious stages and may not listen to reason. Depends who the kid is more akin to listen to. I'm glad nothing serious has happened to this child apart from a little scare but it might just wake him up to the seriousness of the matter. And I'm not condoning that police chase children.
We can't trust them either as most child trafficking is done by the government.
Cheers.
we will never know the real truth as the video doesn't show the entire context. you can see the video was cut only to show the part that interests the party that wants to send the message. every media channel, or every repost of this video will use it as their own propaganda, not spreading the truth.
Exactly. Shame.
