From Saved Seeds to a Greener Backyard: How My String Beans Brought New Life to Our Little Garden

Hello my dear Hive gardeners! It’s another wonderful day to share something close to my heart – Our backyard string beans!

These string bean seeds are extra special because they came from my previous harvest. Instead of buying new ones, I decided to save a few seeds from my old plants, dry them well, and keep them for the next planting season. I didn’t expect much, but I thought, why not give the, a chance to grow again?

After not give them a chance to grow again? After all, these seeds already carry a piece of our garden’s story.

One sunny morning, I prepared the small garden space at the front of our farm house near the rice fields. I loosened the soil, removed weeds and made tiny holes for planting. It felt relaxing and peaceful, just me the soil and the hope of new life. When I planted those old seeds I whispered, grow strong again, little ones! I always talk my plants. I watered the, with care and waited patiently. I love planting string beans as our family love to eat beans.

A few days later, I was happy to see tiny sprouts coming out of the ground! It felt like seeing an old friend again those seeds didn’t fail me, they grew tall and healthy, climbing the sticks and fence that I had prepared. I added some strings to guide their vines upward and soon our backyard turned beautifully green.

Weeks passed; a small yellow flower began to prepare. I knew harvest time was near! The excitement grew every day as I checked on the plants, and finally I saw long, fresh string beans hanging on the vines. It was such a rewarding moment, proof that even old seeds can bring new blessings.

When I harvested the beans, my heart was full of joy. My family was just as excited because string beans are one of our favorites. We cooked them, right away, adobong sitaw. Simple yet delicious.
It felt special knowing that meal came from seeds we once planted, nurtured and regrown.

This experience reminded me that gardening is not just about plants. Its about patience, care and faith that life can always begin again, even from something old. Its amazing how these small green beans can bring so much happiness, not only to our table but also to our hearts.

Now, every time I looks at our backyard, I see a story of growth, love and family. Our string beans may be simple, but they remind me that with a little effort and care, beautiful things, can always come back to life. 🍀🌿lets chare kindness everyday! Keep planting and growing!

Thank you so much! True, planting feels so good, but the weeding part is really tiring, sis! Sometimes, I skip it too, as long as the plants bear fruits. That’s what matters! 😁
