Continuing My Mother's Daily Routine: Drying Coffee and Feeding Animals

I suddenly went home to our farm because of my mother's accident. Since I was already there. I stayed for a few days to help her and manage some of the daily tasks. Being back in our home reminded me how different life is there compared to town.

Early in the morning, I woke up to the cold air and the natural light from the sunrise. No alarm clock, just the usual sounds from outside. I made myself a cup of coffee before starting the day. Sitting for a few minutes while drinking coffee in front of the house felt calming. It helped clear my mind.

After that, I saw my mother's animals already waiting outside, the ducks, chickens, goat and our dog. They are used to being fed early. So, I quickly prepared their food Feeding them.is not complicated, but it requires consistency. While doing it, I realized how much daily effort my mother gives just to maintain everything.

We also worked on drying our coffee. We used our dryer, and some beans still needed to be properly dried before selling. Drying is very important to maintain quality. Coffee in our province has increased in value compared to previous years, so we make sure the process is done correctly. It is extra income, but it requires patience and hard work.

Even though there were many things to do, being in the farm helped me feel less stressed. The work is physical, but I my mind feels lights there. Staying at my parents house, helping my mother, and doing simple farm tasks reminded me that simple routines can bring real peace.

Thank you for reading my story! This is my owned picture, the lead photo was edited in Canva. This daily task and responsibility is a blessing that I do it now for my mother! Have a nice day, everyone!

That drying of coffee reminds me of my late grandma.
We also used to harvest coffee and then same procedure.

Living in the countryside is really far from the city.
If only there is an enough source of income, I would love to stay
