A Visit to My Mother Plants and the Quiet Joy They Still Bring Home Life

A simple visit to my mother's plants is one of season in my life I once loved. These plants came from me, long before I moved to the farm. During the pandemic I became a proud plantita. I collected many plants, cared for them daily, and found comfort in watching them grow. Plants gave me peace during uncertain times.

When I moved to the farm, my life slowly changed. I had more responsibilities to carry. Work, family and daily tasks took most of my time and energy. Sadly, I could no longer give enough attention to my plants. So, I decided to bring them my mother, I knew she would take care of them better than I could.

Seeing them again made my heart happy the plants did not just survive, they grew more beautiful. Some became fuller, others looks healthier and stronger. It made me smile and think that it is really true, a mother knows how to take care deeply. Just like how she raised us, she also raised these plants with love and patience .

My mother enjoys having different pants around her they give her energy, joy everyday and stress reliever. Each plant adds color and life to her simple home. I can see how tending them gives her peace especially in the quiet and cold morning.

Now, I am planning to ask her for a few plants again. Slowly, I want to return to being a plantita. Just little by little. I know I cannot collect as many as before, and that is okay. Even a few plants can make a big difference.

A simple house feels warmer with plants. They make a place feel alive, calm and happy. Sometimes, it is the small green things that remind us to slow down and breathe.
