If you’re found your way here, Welcome! I’m Ronalyn Percales but you can call me “dreamrona”. The name I express myself that even a simple one with quite dreams have something worth sharing.

About me

I was born on MAY 27 in the heights of Mountain - Sitio Pinetree a peaceful place of the Philippines. I grew up surrounded by nature, Farm, Simple living and Loving Family.
I’m the youngest among Five siblings – we are 2 girls and 3 boys. Being the sweet youngest, I grew up beside my older sister, she is my best friend and crying shoulder. In my young years I do sidelines like selling vegetables and candies to our neighbors, Teacher and classmates. As the youngest, I’ve always been the listener to our family, the peacemaker and always appreciates simple things and happiness. Now I’m happy to share the joy to my Nieces and Nephews as my purpose in life.

My First Home, My Parents

My Parents are both Farmers. From then I saw humility and hard work every day, they didn’t have much but they gave us everything – fairness. kindness, love and generosity.

My Love Story

My husband courted me with patience, respect and a quite kind of love, it wasn’t full of words and promises but it was consistent, kind and true love
We got married, like other couples we dreamed a big family but life had other plans. It took us 3 years before I got pregnant, these 3 years were not easy. There were doubts, Fears, Tears and quite prayers. My Husband stood by me. He showed me a love that patient, understanding and strong, the kind of relationship that doesn’t shout but stays together.

My journey into Motherhood.

In Oct 2021, after years of praying, I found out I was pregnant. I held my belly gentle, and thanked God silently. After all the struggles from my Thyroid problem this was it the beginning of a new life specially to me as a woman.
In May 2022, my beautiful daughter was born. Named – Morning Belle, she is the beauty that lights up our Mornings and answer to our silent prayer I had whispered during the difficult days.

Blessed by Parents and In-laws

Motherhood is not easy, it comes with sleepless nights, worries and a hundred little sacrifice. I feel blessed not just for my daughter but for the people who walked this journey with me. I am lucky to see my daughter love and cared with my parents, family and in laws. From playtimes, storytelling, mentoring, teaching about simple life, feeding ducks, chicken and pets, she grew up surrounded by positivity, humility and love.

Now she is three years old, I see how much she brings light to us, as a mother, I’m still learning every day, to my Morning Belle- If you’re read this one day, thank you for the love and happiness, you made me complete.

My work, My passion

I worked as a bookkeeper before, ESL Teacher, Online Seller, Vegetable vendor and a Farmer. Farming is not just my livelihood but also my favorite hobby and it bring me peace and happiness. Also, I love making decorations, flower arrangement, making programs and party plans, Capturing pictures and moments. Fortunately, I find true happiness in sharing and giving, especially when helping children and chosen family in our small community and church through feeding programs, sharing vegetable harvest and simple acts of kindness. Sharing my blessing even in small it gives me a pure sense of contentment and purpose in life. My life is a beautiful balance of commitment, hard work, service and love.

Why I’m here and what’s coming

For a long time, I’ve been known by Teacher Ronalyn, Ma’am Rona, Ate Ron, but now I want a space where I can just be a Rona – honest, simple, open and free to tell my story. This blog is like my journal, diary, safe place, and a little home online. Where I can share my real-life moments, motherhood journey, Family stories, struggles to victories, Creative works, and Simple farm life – like planting and harvesting vegetables, and enjoy quite mornings with coffee.
