The French are people with an exquisite taste, the historically made beautiful stuff, from music to poetry and writing to architecture, they are really special.
Lovely walk by Montpellier and charming shots, thanks for sharing. You're fortunate for being able to enjoy those wonderful places, I'm envious hahaha... nah, I'm happy you're having a great time at the north of my country XD

I so agree with you. The french and their culture is unique in many ways. I want to learn about it… and submerge myself with it all. I am learning french too haha. It is very helpful. I try not to speak any other language when out and about. A shame that my french is from many moons ago. I was born here btw. 😉 So there are roots but my family moved out of france when I was little… really little like only 2 years old.
I am enjoying it a lot. Will share some more soon. I hope to drive slowly further soon. Maybe next weekend.

Learning the language you're in is a great idea and a really great opoortunity since you can practice it, which IS the best on learning languages.
I close relatively since I'm at the south west of Spain, more than 1000km away from Montpellier....

I always tend to learn a bit of the language of the country I am visiting. So far I am fluent in 4 languages and learning 2 other ones.
