Ricky Starks' Injury and AEW Tag Title Tournament

Hello guys, I don't know if you've heard that Ricky Starks from AEW suffered an injury while wrestling in the tag title tournament. It’s a sad thing. I pray for his quick recovery.

AEW is currently running this competition where they are searching for new tag team champs. It is like March Madness but within wrestling. I have been watching it and it has been quite amazing.

On one side of the bracket, there were only two teams remaining; The Young Bucks and the Best Friends.

They faced off on Dynamite last week. My favorite team was playing, but that is all I will say here.

Two teams were left on the other side. One is FTR while the other is The Infantry. The Infantry had a Cinderella story in a basketball tournament but FTR were simply awesome and they won.

Top Flight versus Big Bill and Ricky Starks happened next. It was actually the first match for Big Bill and Ricky this year. Then, something went wrong.

Ricky got injured during that match. After he did not get up after a move, it looked bad.

I saw video of Ricky getting hurt. Man, it was hard to watch.

He took a kick then layed there motionless as if dead; so still that he didn’t rise even when the referee counted three times over him.

And I think everyone else talking on TV seemed shocked too at what had just occurred because following the fight, AEW’s doctor stayed behind to have some discussions with Ricky which frankly scared me out of my wits.

Now, the remaining teams in the tournament are: Young Bucks, Best Friends, Top Flight and FTR. It will be interesting to see who among them is going to win.

I really feel for Ricky Starks. The worst thing that can happen is sustaining an injury while doing what you love.

I hope he recovers soon. Sometimes wrestling can be dangerous but these people love what they do.

Who will be crowned the tag team champs? Always a fun watch are Young Bucks and FTR as well is rock-solid.

But then it’s wrestling; anything can happen at any time and this makes it really thrilling.

I will keep my eyes tuned to know how things unfold further. The Final Four teams are going all out and it’s going to be epic.

I wish Ricks Starks a speedy recovery so that he bounces back stronger than ever before. Meanwhile, let us savor the rest of the competition as we watch who triumphs in the end
